chest pain left side into back

okay hers the question over the last couple of months once in a while I get a sharp pain under my left chest muscle almost on my side, it only last a second or 2. usually I am siting down. It hasnt happen while I have been active. there are no other symptoms . I take my bp right after it happens and its is122/ 82 paulse 83, my doctor says it a typical chest pain and not to worry . well I am worried what do you think.

ok so i have a pain in my back upper left side, and sometimes pain in my chest on the same side. im 22 years old and have no prior health problems. whenever i lay on my side i feel like a burning sensation and almost a faint kind of feeling. same when i lay on my stomach , right or left sides. i also eperience pain in the back and random pains in the chest.. some times left arm pains.. i dont really have an overall sense of well being and this really freaks me out.

Sometimes the pain starts in my chest and seems to go to my back and at other times it starts in the back and goes to the front. Working makes the pain worse and lasts longer. I take 2 Aleve an it helps a lot. Any suggestions?

the pain is in my left side, not all the time only sometimes..also sometimes when i breath heavy or take a deep breath..the pain is anywhere from right below my rib cage to the shoulder blade on my left side back!! Im only 17 and i had went to the dr and i had UTI took all my meds but im still having the problem..I sleep only on my left side so i thought it could be sleeping on it wrong..or just the anxiety that i suffer from..or maybe nerves considering i have been under alot of stress..

If feels like the feeling you feel if someone was to jump out from behind something and scare the **** out of you, or the feeling when a cop turns his lights on you to pull you over, or such feeling like that, hard forceful heartbeat, not fast, kinda like shocked into a slow hard heartbeat, fluttering feeling in chest, mild left side chest pain, and short of breath. What could cause this in the middle of the night and wake me from a sleep? Could it be potentially dangerous?

It feels worse and different than the last chest pain I had. This one is like in my back and all over the left side of my chest. I know that all the tests came back fine but now I'm just not convinced. I can literally feel my arteries being blocked which is what could be causing the pain.

For almost a week now, ive been experiencing pain in my left breast, and left side/back. It seems to hurt even more when im wearing a bra, or when im putting pressure on my chest. This has never happened to me before, and i was wondering if anyone could help me? thanks!

for the past 2 nights i have been woken with a sharp pain in my left side under my chest bone, this has then moved into my arm making it feel weak as though the blood isnt flowing properly, i have put off going to emergancy rooms as i feel that i am just going to be told its my anxiety. Help im concerned dont no who else to turn to.

I was going to the chiropractor and when he fixed my upper back my chest pain went away. On occasions it would come back and I would go in for another back fix. Well it is fixed now and I haven't needed the chiropractor in years. Might want to check that out.

It is more under the nipple to left side of my chest and left arm sometimes. I also get pain in my back sort of between shoulder blades when it is really bad. I have had ekg, reads normal ,BP 123/87 no shortness of breath. My cholesterol levels, bad cholesterol was below slightly do not remember exact number. Good cholesterol was slightly higher than normal but was told that helps to fight coronery disease.I do not have insurance and both my wife and I recently lost our jobs.

t find anything on the priliminary check up. now I have some pain still exist under the left side of the left chest and take some oinment. what precautions & treatment I have to follow. please help me. Note: pain on sneezing, geting up from the bed without help, little pain when lifting the left hand.

hi there i always get this chest pain in my left side i do smoke and drink some times i know alot of other people i read about on here or other web sites have had the same thing kinda and they have not found a answer to it any ways i v had it for alomst a year now and its getting really bad where the pain wont go a way it feels like haert attact some times but its not iv seen docters about it and they dont know what it is and keep giving me pills iv tryied every thing to make it go away tums adv

I'm a 23 yr old male, 6ft and weight 205lbs. I have been experiencing this left side chest pain for over 2 years now. The past year and a half, I have been in the charity system and had multiple test including, echo's, blood work, stress test, holter monitors, ekgs. I recently just got insurance and got established with a family Doc, been seeing hime about 3 months. I've had an ekg, holter monitor, and blood work done through him.

Hello! I have been having a dull aching pain in my chest mainly left side, back pain and some occasional arm pain. I do have GERD and had my gallbladder out in 2003. I saw my doc and she thinks its just a flare up of GERDs but has set me up to have a stress echo. I am driving myself nuts wondering is the heart related, am i ignoring signs of a heart condition. My doc doesnt seem so worried but i have small children and cant help but wonder am i taking the right measures promptly.

It really scared me b/c after I would get the pain in my back it would also run into my shoulder and down my arm right into my wrist and fingers. Being that it was my left side, the first thing I worried about was my heart. I had a bunch of tests too and everything turned out better than good. Once thing I noticed though is that when I had the stress test on the treadmill, even though my heart was good I was having trouble holding on to the bar.

Hello, well I've been having some pain in my back around the middle it goes up into my neck across my left shoulder feels like its in my left chest. Also been having stomach issues feeling bloated and like I have heartburn also goes into my arm my left one kinda feels like a mild burning sensation n other times it just hurts chest left side by armpit also has that sensation. Also get lowerback pain on right side right above my butt that's usually a sharp pain thou.

i have had mid left side back pain for several months now, orginally thought i had a kidney infection, all test were negative, had an mri, showed i have L5 disc probem and T3 and T4 problems, have a very physical job had fallen at work, kept working so we all thought is was muscular went to a recovery chiropractic office, went through seven weeks of therapy, had one shot in back, no help, ultrasounds of pelvis, and abdomen and renal, all negative.

Anyway, About a year ago I under went a cardio work up due to PVCs.All came back well but during that testing I developed a pain under my left breast. It came and went, never very sharp but dull ache. My PCP did a full work up, sonogram of my upper ab., Chest Xray, spine xray.... all came back well.Then she went on to have a Chest CT Scan with contrast (about 8 months ago) and after that a thoracic MRI. She said all came back good except for a slight slipped disc in my neck....

For the last 2 days i have been having really bad chest pain, but only on my left side. It starts under my boob/rib, and works its way to my back right behind my left boob. The pain does go away but then comes back, and it also hurts to press down on it. I know it could be the position of the baby, but the thing is, is that i have had this pain once before and got it before i was pregnant. And ideas? Oh and i do have asthma, could that be causing it?
