Taking a deep breath isnt really difficult and I dont feel short of breath but I definitely seem to feel discomfort in my chest similar to a chest cold

Im 33 weeks and woke up with a sore throat and chest conjested should I c my dr or get somthing over the counter

Absolutely no mucus and cough just began late yesterday. Cough is FEW and far between. Chest feels like a minor chest cold. I've never had pneumonia but my husband has it probably 4 times a year and he coughs and coughs up gunk for weeks. Should I be concerned that I am not coughing more or coughing up mucus? I still have 7 full days of antibiotic.

now with my cough and runny/stuffy nose I developed chest pain, or a chest cold. Yesterday my chest hurt really bad in the evening and when I coughed It hurt even more. Today chest still hurts when I cough but that as bad as yesterday. What can all this be?

You must need go back special doctor for your cold and fever. You xray chest and also do a lung function test to check for asthmatic problems. Best of luck!

ve described here, and insist on having a chest exam. Green mucus can be a sign of infection. Chest pain should never be ignored, and should definitely be looked at by a physician in order to rule out any thing serious. Years ago, I had symptoms much like yours, but I chose to skip the doctors visit and stay home. It turned out that I had bronchitis, then developed pneumonia.

So on Tuesday i woke up with the worst sore throat ever and it lasted a full two days. Now today it's gone and i have a bit of a stuffy nose and a slight dry cough. I have NO appetite and just do not feel good. I don't think I've had a fever. My sister had bronchitis. Should I go to the doctor or just ride it out?

The whole time I was in the hospital I had no fever, no elevation in white blood cells, no rashes, no nasea, no symptoms that anything at all was wrong except for the build up of fluid in my chest, I wasn’t even coughing up anytging. Oh, and all the tests came back negative, not a single test on my blood work or on the fluid came back positive. They did however confirm the the fluid in my chest was infectious (reactive/fighting something).

If his only 10 days old you might want to take him to the hospital. is he wheezing at all? Shortness of breath. Watch his chest and stomach area and she if it looks like his sucking in and his chest caves down.

Wth????? I would immediately call the head of the hospital and report the dr!!!!! There is no reason for him to talk to u like that. Also You can have pneumonia with little or no fever so I would give him the meds.(what is the dose btw?) And why didn't he give him breathing treatments? I don't know what you are allowed to take when you are pregnant, pharmaceutical or otherwise... but I'd suggest making sure you eat well, stay hydrated. Maybe run a hot shower for a while then go outside in the cold (like when babies have croup---gives some relief). I've heard oil of oregano or eucalyptus oil, a few drops in boiling water, your head with a towel over it and you inhale, can help with phlegm.

I have been having episodes of bad chills and sometimes a low-grade fever for almost two years. The episodes are always the same and occur every six - eight weeks. Then high fever was gone and Ive been having mild fevers on and off that feel more like a warmer than usual body than fever... And right after high fever was gone i got a cold sore on my lower lip, which I believe I spreaded to my chin because i touched it and might have rubbed my face with it... Now I get tired very easily even 2 weeks after high fever... I dont remember noticing any skin rash... Does the cold sore count as a skin rash?
