A lot of pregnant ladies, including me, try to tough it out at the beginning with natural remedies and stay away from over-the-counter medications at first at least. Honey is a good natural cough syrup, and honey in hot tea (I like peppermint tea helps soothe your throat. A humidifier will help you breathe and sleep better, and cough drops and chloroseptic spray for your throat are just fine.
