celexa

20909564 tn?1624320701 On this site, there have been many "unofficial grassroots" negative testimonials about so-called "safe" EMG testing.
Avatar n tn I realize that the prognosis can be anywhere from little recovery to limitless recovery, but what I am hoping for is for some real testimonials about anyone who had recovery with similar problems. For example, has anyone or anyone know someone who has been able to speak and use a wheelchair to get around after loosing those abilities from a stroke? Has anyone had their tracheaostomy removed after stroke? Thank you for any support.
Avatar f tn Personally feel like video testimonials just make us look like mental health patients. I do think they could connect more sufferers to one another and bring awareness to the subject. But it has to be a good, neutral video that doesn't involve too many emotions. The best we can do is to make a video talking into the camera, explaining PATM, and then cutting away to example footage of people reacting.
1166402 tn?1303847056 Lexapro is a metabolite of Celexa... it's ''the new Celexa''. Supposed to have less side-effects for that matter. Just think of the tricyclic nortriptyline being the major active metabolite of amiltrityline which makes nortriptyline a second generation tricyclic.
222417 tn?1241564300 Hi Again. I was wondering if anyone on this board is on Celexa { Citalopram}. And could they tell me how it feels? I mean do you feel better? As I am supposed to start soon on this medication. Right now I am on Anafranil and klonopin. Dr has decided to try this medication to see if it will make me better because right now I am not. And also how long before I can take Celexa because I am still on Anafranil. I take 50mgs once a day in the night time.
396332 tn?1320003615 I was wondering for any of you that have ever taken celexa....Can you actually feel celexa or is it just like zoloft where you dont notice it at all. Also what are some side effects you experianced?
Avatar m tn I have been on Celexa 20mg for about 6 weeks. My doc has upped it to 30mg...what side effects should I expect?
4548569 tn?1356292637 I have been taking 20 milligrams of generic Celexa for about 4 months to treat anxiety and depression. I was apprehensive to try Celexa because I had heard so many bad things about it. However, within a short time after taking it I noticed a huge improvement in both my depression and anxiety. I am very happy with the Celexa. One problem I am having though is that I have changed as a person and I suspect it is from the Celexa.
Avatar m tn I have been on Celexa for about 5 years and went off it a month ago. Started not to feel right and resumed the dosage I had been on at 60mg. I became a nervous wreck (sweats, panic etc) and then i realized I probably should have started back at a lower dose. Would starting at 60mg after not using it for a month cause me to have these very nervous feelings?
Avatar f tn Hopefully someone will be able to help me with this. I've been on celexa for about 3 months started at 20mg now at 40 mg. I have been seeing a lot of benefits. However I used to be on cymbalta and no matter how much I went to the gym I couldn't lose weight. I am fixing to start working out again and trying to eat healthier. Does anyone know if celexa hinders weight loss with proper diet and exercise.
Avatar f tn I started taking celexa five days ago after going to my doctor for a f/u and completely breaking down bawling like a baby (my mom was just diagnosed with acute leukemia). On day two, I developed a severe headache and very stiff neck. I have had migraines in the past that originate in my neck/shoulder area. So, I thought I was getting a migraine like I've had in the past...I started doing all the things that have worked to relieve the pain before (massage, advil, heat, ice, rest, etc.
Avatar m tn Good morning I have been a long sufferer of anxiety that comes and goes. I am currently in a "goes" cycle and suffering constant panic attacks and I have myself convinced that there is something wrong with my heart despite having a normal ECHO in January, a normal treadmill stress test 2 weeks ago, a normal 24 hours holter 2 months ago and normal blood pressure and cholesterol. My Dr. prescribed me 20 mg of Celexa which I took a few years ago and helped a great deal.
Avatar n tn hi my doctor is putting my wife on celexa for her anxiety and panic attacks, i was wondering does anyone take it and how it makes you feel, she has been taking buspar for 3 days and i think it made her worse and help would be greatly aprreciated

619930 tn?1260374254 for something to help me deal with anxiety/anger sides that I have been dealing with for almost 2 months. She prescribed Celexa and I started it on Thursday night and have been really nauseous along with a fuzzy almost headache ever since. I thought my stomach issues were relatively under control before this started, but now I am having the hardest time eating much of anything.
497348 tn?1283436066 So it has been almost a month now that I have been on Celexa 10 mg, I have been feeling a little bit better but I was wondering when does the SSRi finally kick in for people? I heard it takes 4-6 weeks or 6-8 weeks... not sure?... Does anyone take it for anxiety with related to thyroid issues? All I have heard from my fellow co workers who work in mental health is that celexa maybe isnt the drug for me and my anxiety and panic issues?...
672514 tn?1265655141 OK my 1st question, sorry! I started Celexa 3 months ago, I have been on 5mg celexa (most Doctors would say not even therapeutic) well it has been for me, now I am considering moving up to 10mgs. Anyone on celexa have any pros or cons ?
Avatar n tn Has anyone had experience with Celexa. My doctor wants to put me on it and I'd like some information before doing so. I take xanax at present but I've been using it too long and it no longer works. Apparently my doctor feels that my sleep might benefit from using Celexa.
Avatar f tn I've been on many different meds in the past, including Celexa and was just prescribed it again. The problem is I really hate to start taking it for fear it will eventually stop working. I am also very overweight and I am concerned about weight gain. Also, it was prescribed to take in the morning, but since I do have some anxiety and suffer with sleep apnea I think is I do decide to take it, night time would probably be best. Any thoughts?
Avatar f tn Have any of you noticed a difference between 10 mg and 20 mg of Celexa. I took Celexa in the past and was on 20 mg. This time I'm only taking 10 mg and I still have mild anxiety/depression.
Avatar f tn Can I quit taking Celexa cold turkey? I have been taking 20mg of Celexa for almost 4 weeks and want to quit taking them cold turkey.
930431 tn?1245638151 Has anyone had insomnia while taking celexa. I heard that I am having a paradoxal effect ??.
1058261 tn?1256057540 So she thought it would be a good idea to try an antidepressant since I have been diagnoised with depression even before my addiction. She put me on 10mg of celexa and 0.25mg of xanax as needed. Heres my question has anyone ever used celexa before? I know we are all different but I was wondering if you could tell me how it worked good or bad.
Avatar m tn I have been take Celexa 20mg for 3 weeks, switching over from Effexor. I am also taking ativan .5mg 3 times a day to help alleviate some of the side affects until Celexa kicks in. Can anyone tell me how long it will take for the Celexa to begin to work on my anxiety. I wake up feeling anxious and nauseated. Does it really take 4-6 weeks for this medication to kick in? Would be great if anyone has any advice on this.
Avatar f tn I was on celexa for two years at age 16. It made me go absolutely insane to the point where I tried to commit suicide and ended up in the hospital again. The week I went off of it, I felt incredibly better. I have extreme PTSD now, see a therapist, I have anger issues, and loss of memory all because of Celexa. I would like to know who I can call or go to to report this and get some sort of justice.
