I believe my early menopause was due to the Hashimoto's thyroid issue no one caught, and it is an auto immune condition which we as a chiarian are prone to....so, I feel it is related.

Keep in mind I went thru all of it long b4 I got my chiari dx....and I did have very bad monthly's....HA's would be worse....stay home from school kind....
Twenty years ago I had a total hysterectomy. Now I am experiencing all the menopause symptoms. Didn't I go through a "forced" menopause after my hysterectomy?????
ve been lucky to have clear skin most of my life except for the occassional pimple or 2 right around my period. Well, a few months back, my face starting breaking out a lot, all over! I got an acne wash and new oil-free moisturizer and now that is under control. But now I am getting pimples on my chest and even my breast - I actually posted in another forum about a breast pimple because I was worried about it but it's def.

I have Graves Disease, I just went off birth-control pill after 25 years of being on it. My thyroid went to hypo my TSH was over 10 and now my body feels like it is rocking back and forth? Has anyone else felt like this. It is so upsetting...

ve developed, especially on my chin and back, although today I have noticed more acne developing around the sides of my face and I do actually look like a hormonal teenager. I will be going to get it checked out as I wouldn't have thought just having the uterus removed would cause it, but it is a big disruption to the body and it has to adjust.
You can try the proactive body wash. It really does work I've never had back acne but when i was younger i had face acne. My mom bought me the proactive and it cleared up. My little sis had back acne we got her the body wash and it reduced back acne. I've seen it work maybe it'll work for you as well.
I never really had acne on my face let alone my back but now I'm beginning to break out on the back or my shoulders. What kind of products are safe/effective in treating that sort of acne. Not overly concerned just wanna control it if possible.
I appreciate the antibiotics, but they haven't done much for me either. But have you tried low percentage retin-a cream? This may be a solution for you. Applied at night, the thin layer of cream can do wonders in a matter of weeks, and over several months, there's a big improvement. I've used it as an acne treatment, and my 50+ age mother uses it for acne, wrinkles, and overall skin appearance. She looks fabulous for her age!
I spoke to my doctor about it and he prescribed a 2% Testosterone cream. I worried about the the side effects (acne and facila hair). What else can I do? I'm too young for menopause and I haven't had a hysteroctomy so I can't figure out the problem. Any ideas or suggestions?
-) I had a byposy when I was 17 and it came back normal. I have had 3 herpis tests all normal and blood work for hep and came back normal. She could not find anything when she did a DNC. I did blood tests to see if I was going through the change of life early menopause and it came back I am not there yet. I am very over weight and maybe that is causing my problems down there? I had back acne since my 20's.They get worse in summer and little better in winter.I am 25 now.Since last year this seems to spread to the back of my arm as given in the image I've posted in my profile.I have seen many docs,accutane didn't suite me.The appearance on these pimple/acnes are black and raised.They remain like that for years.I've changed my diet and that seems to help a little.But I am concerned what are those really? I have been having this random cluster of red acne like spots on the upper middle of my back. I'm not sure if it's acne or a rash from my laundry detergent? I've been using benzoyl peroxide acne cream but it's still there. It used to be raised a little like acne but now its all flat.
The same time that happened, I got acne and got kinda uglier as well. So that makes me think puberty imbalance hormones did this to me. I also got depressed and used to be very happy (Not because of the acne or getting uglier! just how I started feeling).

A few months ago, my face just randomly broke out everywhere, starting with my chin, and within a week was completely covered with acne. I then started using an acne kit called Clean and Clear Advantage, but that only dried out my skin and made it peel pretty badly.
During use, the majority of my left cheek started sort of bubbling and swelling up a bit, thinking it was due to the dryness of my face from the acne kit, i stopped using it.
isotretinoin also known as Accutane, can be prescribed by a doctor, or contraceptive pills with cyproterone for females with virilization or drospirenone.
