I think Im experiencing AIDS symptoms. I have shortness of breath, fatigue, and now I started experiencing a weird sensation in my foot, as if someone is holding a lighter near to my ankle. It doesnt burn but it feels warm for a few seconds then goes away. Happens daily I think. So im wondering if theres a high chance I got AIDS through the damaged tissue.

Almost two weeks ago, I noticed I had these dark spots on my stomach. They are not big but there are several or so. Initially they were kind of red around the area, reminding me of small grease burbs you get while you're cooking & the grease pops you, & they were slightly peeling. Several days later I noticed smaller reddish bumps starting to appear & my skin was starting to look splotchy.

In the past few years I've been susceptible to some respiratory symptoms. They usually start with heavy sneezing, then followed by a mild fever, and sometimes my nose will be running. This will last maybe 5 days, and I think on average I've had this once or twice a year. There was also one case of where I thought was bronchitis; I had some trouble breathing, and they did an x-ray and said they didn't really see anything. They gave me antibiotics anyway.

Go to your doctor. Your symptoms are not from HIV. You did not have a risk and if you had a risk your symptoms came on to quick to be related to ARS.

I founf some comfort in your reple however my symptoms are real but I am going to have my results today and hopefully look for support groups.

What is the average amount of time before most people know they have hiv (develop symptoms that alert them) and does this differ by age at time of infection. Do people in their 20's differ from those in their 40's 50's and even 60's?

HIV is not something to be diagnosed by symptoms alone. That being said, ARS symptoms typically develop 2-4 weeks post exposure.

I'm 21 years old and have made myself to belief i am an "AIDS child". Each day when i go to sleep i feel a pain which is totatlly wired.
