In the past few years I've been susceptible to some respiratory symptoms. They usually start with heavy sneezing, then followed by a mild fever, and sometimes my nose will be running. This will last maybe 5 days, and I think on average I've had this once or twice a year. There was also one case of where I thought was bronchitis; I had some trouble breathing, and they did an x-ray and said they didn't really see anything. They gave me antibiotics anyway.
um I was with my bf for like a year anyways he left me about a month ago he just left didnt tell me he was leaving I think he may have hiv or aids and has infected me ive been feeling sick for a while off and on but I have not been tested in about a year anyways ive got this rly bad cough and sometimes I feel like its hard to breathe it been like tht for a couple weeks now I dont have insurance and ive been too much of a coward to go to the hospital because im by myself I cnt tell my family...

The symptoms of AIDS are mainly the result of infections that do not normally develop in people with a healthy immune system. These are called opportunistic infections.
People with AIDS have had their immune system damaged by HIV and are very susceptible to these opportunistic infections. Common symptoms are:

I have two questions if a person has aids does they pass on aids or hiv cause these seem like aids symptoms also can I trust my 8 week negative result wont turn positive at 12 weeks im currently on week 10 waiting im stressing all these symptoms that I have have HiV/ aids written all over it when I search them please help!

Can you Get HHV8 and not get HIV/AIDS?. Is it possible to skip HIV and get AIDS directly? Would HHV-8 be what caused all my symptoms (fever/neck ach/night sweats/nightmares/nausea/tiredness? After that I had unprotected sex with my wife and 2 weeks later she appears with the same symptoms (diarrhoea, fever (99.5 F), muscle soar, and profound fatigue). Hi ive been going through really bad anxiety regarding a low risk encounter (oral, fellatio...giver). I get my results monday but im really stressing about ARS symptoms. I had a 99.2 temp briefly (fluctuated b/w 98.6-99.2) which I was told in anxiety forum isnt a fever) for two days a week ago...but that was it as far as ”higher temp” and last night I woke up drenched in sweat..however, no fever...and when I got.to the doc office this a.m my temp was 86.1...
my mother is suffering from unknown problem of weight loss and continuous fever. we have conducted all kinds of tests but no problem is detected. She has become very week and she get fever every time she do some straining work or travel. we are feeling very helpless. lately her stomach has started to swollen up. kindly help.

Sure enough, the next day came and I had very enlarged neck glands and a severe sore throat, along with fatigue/tiredness. My muscles no longer ached, but my throat did and I think I had a fever that fluxuated between 99-101. By Thursday my sore throat had been wearing off, buy my glands were still enlarged and I still felt a little tired/weak. I had night sweats twice that night, waking up with my pillow soaked.
Actually, the above is incorrect. ARS symptoms are not "very common". MANY newly infected people never have one symptom at all.
The important thing to remember is that symptoms are NEVER a way to determine status, only a test will do that.
fever, sore throat and rash, these symptoms are present in many other illnesses, that's why you mustn't use ARS to diagnose a posible infection.
If you think you have been exposed to HIV, you could tell us more about the event, and we could tell you if you were really exposed to a risk and need testing.
