I've only been on Accutane (actually, a generic brand of it) for ten days, and I experienced my first migraine on day 9. I am unsure if the migraine could be connected to Accutane, but I did a little research and some instances of migraines have been reported by Accutane users. I am just uncertain because I haven't been on it very long, but I am already experiencing dry lips, so I suppose I could be experiencing other side effects already, too.
I have been on Accutane ( Claravis) on 40 mg for a month, I was upped to 60 mg but just went back down do to side effects. My vision has gotten blurry in the distance and I recently visited my optometrist and told him this and that I was on the drug. He took a paper with all the visual side effects of Accutane and checked me for everything even threw in a glaucoma exam and tear producing test and said everything was normal.

Accutane can cause blurred vision, sudden and severe headache or pain behind your eyes, sometimes with vomiting as part of its side effects associated with eye, but not really a red line in the eye, as you have stated in your post.
If it is part of an allergic reaction then it is possible because conjunctivitis can be caused by an allergic reaction.
Hi, I had been on accutane for almost two months (60 mg a day). In the first month I had some headaches and dizziness but it wasn't a big deal. But, a couple weeks into the second month I started having really, really awful pounding pressuring headaches with really bad eye pain and dizziness. It hurt to move my eyes around and I had some difficulty focusing and changing my focus.
symptoms may include blurred vision, buzzing in the ear, dizziness, double vision, nausea and loss of vision. Signs seen are bulging anterior fontenalle and increased head size and swelling of optic nerve in the back of the eye or the papilledema. Certain tests like CT head, eye examination along with visual field testing and lumbar puncture. Treatment includes treating the cause of the pseudotumor. Lumbar puncture can relieve pressure in the brain and prevent vision problems.

Even after a month no accutane though, I had a period of two weeks of extreme tiredness/mild headache that promptly went away after a night of heavy drinking and booting my guts out. Towards the end of the second month on accutane I suddenly started getting really intense headaches that to me, seem like a migraine. It's happening at least a couple times a week now. My vision kind of suddenly started getting blurier and I now have difficulty trying to focus and refocus my eyes. With this I also experience pain in my eyes. I have this whenever I get the headaches and sometimes without a bad headache.
I keep seeing black cloud like outlines usually on clear surfaces or the sky vision gets blurry and text on computer fades or its like its melting, the clouds seem to expand and decrease like they are flowing? I have been told im hypothyroid and have blepharitis and also was on accutane a few years ago.

ve been on accutane and present some worrisome symptoms (severe pounding headaches, dizziness, vision blur, sometimes nausea), but my opthamologist saw no papilladema, so at this point it's kind of a mystery as to why I have been experiencing this for the past month. I have been off accutane for a month now. I did get prescribed glasses to see if wearing them reduces symptoms, but I'm just very nervous about this!
I have been taking accutane for 7 months now. 20 mg first month, 40 next, then 80 which is my current dose. I have a predicted one more month to go(and it has been helping). A few months ago I noticed my hair was getting thinner. I asked my doctor about it and he said he did not know anything about accutane causing hair loss. I have researched it and found that it does. 7 years ago, I had a vitreous detachment in the left eye and it resulted in a floater in the middle of my vision. Over the years it now moves down out of the vision, but still does move up and in the way. The reason my vision was corrected to only 20/25 in the left eye initially was because if my eyes were corrected both to 20/20, my dominant eye would switch from right to left and then I would need a stronger prescription in the right eye.

hi i am 21 year old , i have hypothyroidism caused by hishmoto when i was 15 year old i had acne then i went to pharmacist to ask hem medication to treat my problem ( idid mistake) any way he gave me medication that affect my vision and my concentration then i stopped to take it after just 3 days .
My neck is always in pain, my back is always stiff and in knots, I cannot run anymore (at least not w/o feeling immense pain), walking up stairs is a constant chore, my night vision is diminished considerably, and my breathing is as if I am horribly out of shape, when in fact I am not. I constantly feel weak and lightheaded. I am in denial about my symptoms when it comes to trying to explain how I feel to other people, because I know they will not understand.
I think after researching- I got my symtoms from several courses of Accutane medicine. Which they have pulled from the market. Any one else have the same problems from 10 yrs ago of using Accutane and what did you do to manage the IBS and stomach issues??
Have had melasma for the past couple of years. Just started accutane 40 mg and wondering if there's anything I can use to help treat a stubborn spot on my forehead. Seems like its getting darker since I have started the pills. Already use a physical spf50 cream everyday. Any suggestions?
She is currently on Bactrim and due to go back to Dermatologist tomorrow with suggestion of starting Accutane. She woke up with this acne in mid-December and began taking Vyvanse a few weeks before. Could there be any correlation? I don't want to jump into Accutane if Vyvanse could be causing it but she is so self-conscious.
Tomorrow will mark day 4 that I am late on my period. I took Accutane from approximately July 20th-August 20th, then got off of it for about a week, and got back on it around August 28th. I was supposed to have my period on Sept. 3rd, and have never been late before. I've been a day early on a few occasions, but never 4 days late. I have been experiencing occasionally really nasty headaches with blurred vision accompanying it. When this happens my eyes feel really weird... It hurts and feels a little bit difficult to move them around and change my focus. It makes me feel tired and just not very well. I was on accutane for two months, but went off of it because i experienced these symptoms very severely.
If that is the case, the doctor could have treated it with something other than accutane. How long have you been off accutane and how long have you been treated for depression/anxiety? Was it during the time you were on accutane or once off of it? My gut feeling is that once the accutane is completely out of your system, your depression and anxiety will get back to where they were before.

25 first 6months, 0.5 mg for one year and 1 mg for 1 year till today), In october 2016 my derm put me on accutane 10 mg and minoxiline(100mg) for treating my mild acne, I had been drinking heavily for 5 days before starting my accutane course, 10 days into the course, I started to have Gyno(Unilateral, right breast with a movable tender lump), I dropped accutane and minoxiline and also propecia after 23 days.
