zyrtec

460830 tn?1347219306 ), but I never have had any problem with taking a normal dose of Zyrtec...if I go ahead and take a Zyrtec, and it turns out that I did already take one, would it do any harm?
Avatar m tn I took my dosage and quit hookah. 3 days after the steroids had ended I woke up in the middle of the night with the left side of my tongue swollen. I went to the emergency room and they put me back on steroids and benadryl again. 3 days after my steroid dosage had ended my hand and foot only on the left side started swelling to the point I couldn't walk. Got put back on steroids and zyrtec and some antacids.
850029 tn?1238857820 Does anyone know if you can grow resistant to antihistamines? I've been on Zyrtec for a year and feel like it doesn't work as well as it used to. I know that I have more allergens around me but would think I still should be getting relief. I spend at least $100 a month trying to get some relief. I'm thinking with nothing working I should just save myself $100:) the only time I feel someone what better is taking Advil Cold and Sinus, the Zyrtec seems to do nothing......
Avatar f tn what medicine and dosage is safe to take?
2169449 tn?1358489923 Benadryl is safe, but just a normal dosage and it's better to wait until after your first trimester to take meds...

503607 tn?1275671579 I am writing it off from the Zyrtec, I felt like I could pass out at anytime exhausted and dry mouth from the Zyrtec. I will be sticking to Claritin. Anyone find these issue get worse when its really humid and hot out? I try to keep hydrated but palps even increase during the summer?
689528 tn?1364135841 10mg every day for the first five days and then every other day for the next five, in addition he gets a generic Zyrtec everyday. Now he just gets a zyrtec every day, and if his allergies act up beyond the zyrtec's control, like this time of year ,he gets a prednisone per day for 3 or 4 days and then every other day for two or until things calm down. Zyrtec can be expensive, but we actually found a generic brand at the dollar store! $1. for 14 pills, so we clear their shelves!
Avatar f tn Usually the dosage of chlomid is low at first so the chances of multiple babies are not common. Even as the dosage increases, the chances of having multiples with chlomid is not as high as most people think.
Avatar m tn Have you tried claritin? I started using that to combat my allergies with perfume, but found that zyrtec worked better. I'm not sure about other allergy meds though, have you tried nasal sprays? Benadryl knocks me out in seconds so I understand not wanting to take it all the time- have you tried using the tablets and cutting them in half? I found a 1/4 of the adult dosage works well enough on reactions my Zyrtec isn't good enough for without causing excessive drowsiness.
Avatar f tn i went through a lot similar before having my surgery this past June. The doctor prescribef me zyrtec which really did help me alot...
Avatar n tn has zyrtec been banned,i cant find it anywhere,if it has been banned then wot was the reason?
Avatar f tn he has an allergy related skin condition (Urticaria Pigmentosa), seasonal allergies, and food allergies (tree nuts only). He takes the adult dosage of Zyrtec daily and uses Flonase to keep some of the allergies under control. Because of all of these allergies, I assumed the tongue issue would also be allergy related (the allergy specialist disagrees though). We have also tried Benadryl to no avail. He hasn't had a decent night's sleep in weeks.
1339395 tn?1317263821 my regular doc and ob said it was "ok to take" zyrtec/claritin...but im soooo nervous bc all the babies organs are developing right now... my allergies are killing me (ive been in bed yesterday and today) with runny nose, sneezing like crazy, itchy watery eyes, sore throat. and the weird part is I FEEL like i have a temperature (feel flushed) but i dont have a temp.. who here has taken allergy meds this early and had a healthy baby or any feedback would be great!
Avatar f tn I got the ok on zyrtec during pregnancy from my allergist, OB, and pharmacist. I am positive that zyrtec is ok.
Avatar m tn I took zyrtec around 8:00 PM and my allergies are really bad so i wanted to know if it is safe to take Allegra now
Avatar f tn lol You should NEVER stop taking antibiotics without finishing the whole dosage...unless otherwise stated by a healthcare professional. That being said...allergies can wreak havoc on your sinuses. I've been eliminating nasty stuff from my lungs and nose alike for the past 3 months...all due to allergies. The allergy pills help a bit with very few of my symptoms...but not at all for the lungs and sinuses.
7945295 tn?1397658820 Do any of you lady's take zyrtec for allergies? I don't like taking anything period but my allergies are sever. I claritan with my son but I feel like zyrtec works better. I was told its just as safe but figured I'd see what you lady's take.
Avatar f tn For sure. Cats are at least 10 times smaller than a SMALL adult human female. What is given to us is too much for such a small animal. For example: The amount of Zyrtec I was told to give to Akira is only 1/4 of the adult human dosage. This is much smaller than the children's dosage, which is 1/2 of the adult human dosage. I would never ever give medications to Akira without her first seeing her doctor. I do know that no one should ever give Tylenol to their pets.
Avatar f tn I was told to take zyrtec. Now I have a rash on my upper thighs. Is it the generic zyrtec? Would the regular Zyrtec do the same? Have you ever heard of Diamox being prescribed for Meneire's disease? I find nothing in the literature about it and am hesitant to take it as it makes me very tired. I need to sleep about 3 hours a day when I take it. I don't want to experience vertigo again.
