Doctor is going to start me on vitamin b6 that helped me during my second pregnancy now on bby #3 hopefully it helps since I to have lost weight.u should adk your doctor if it would help u to. Just as a second choice.

I would highly recommend Zofran. It is used for nausea and it works WONDERS! They have other drugs likes Phenergan and Compozine, but the side effects are long and AWFUL (I know because I have taken both). I just looked at the med fact on Zofran and while it doesn't say much about breastfeeding while taking Zofran, there aren't any known problems with taking it during pregnancy.

Yea i took it with my daughter and shes amazing and healthy it really did help alot too.

Any already moms used ZOFRAN during their pregnancy and baby came out perfectly fine? i started zofran a four weeks ago and i must admit i feel guilty for taking the pills but i was prescribed the pills vecause i couldnt hold anything down. i tried eveything and nothing helped. Zofran has been helping so much! i am able to keep foods down. still get horrible nausea but at least im able to eat. i tried to stop taking them but i threw up the whole entired day.

So I've been seeing all this negative stuff about zofran causing all kinds of birth defects to unborn babies. I'm 30 weeks pregnant & I've been taking zofran my entire pregnancy, so it's worrying me. Has anyone else taken zofran? What are your opinions on it?

Yes zofran is great. Took in beginning of pregnancy and now again towards the end..

I'm on it to..Round two of it. I'm thinking everything's going to be fine. They say benadryl might (might) cause it also which is safe during pregnancy and I've also taken that. But it could also happen for no reason at all. So I try not to worry. You have to eat. Believe me I take it and even then I still get sick but it's better then not taking it at all.

I've been on it my whole pregnancy. And baby is fine. I had to take it I tried everything first and nothing worked. I lost 15 pounds and it would've kept going down. I was puking 6x a day. So it was either zofran or starve. Thank goodness for zofran in my case. Also all medication has risk. Even benadryl which is called safe during pregnancy is rumored to cause cleft lip. I've taken it to. A lot of people have. Its pick and choose in this world when It comes to things like this.

m on it again with this pregnancy. I suffered through my first pregnancy because there was no Zofran yet. My 2nd they had me on Vitamin B6 and Unisom at bedtime, was on it the entire pregnancy as I have severe hypermesis. With the last baby I was on Zofran and Reglan the entire pregnancy and I've been on Zofran with this one since I found out at 3 1/2 weeks.

I've done some reading on taking melatonin while pregnant, and most of it is contradicting both sides have good points, and make sense whether it's safe to take during pregnancy or not. I've never taken it, even though I've had sleep problems all my life, and during pregnancy sleeping is even more difficult for me. My question is: have any of you ladies taken melatonin while pregnancy, and if so did it help? Did I cause any problems?

Not to scare anyone at all but I just saw an ad stating that if you took Zofran during your pregnancy and your baby was born with a birth defect like heart problems or cleft palate/lip, then you may be eligible for compensation. I saw this to. I have taken zofran with my last 2 pregnancies both girls r perfectly healthy and I'm now taking this with my 3rd baby girl. 5 of my friends that r pregnant r taking zofran also.

But my sisters and a few friends have taken zofran during pregnancy and nothing has happened. But all of us took it just once a day. I think it just depends. I think you should take it when you need it, but don't take it if you don't.
