I had really bad morning sickness my first trimester ..

Has anyone had hyperemsis gravdium before ? If so did it worse in your 3rd trimester ? And I've been having mucusy discharge latetly is that normal ? I'm not sure how the discharge is supposed to be .

I was sick in my first second and third trimester and I took it every time I was nauseous. It's amazing!

I know how you feel this is my first to. I'm 16w now but when I was in my first trimester I wanted to die! My doctor told me to stop the prenatals and it helped so much just go get a chewable vitamins. And fruit was what I lived off of and I just snacked don't eat big meals yet just find little things to snack on.

Help! I'm 7wks 3days and vomit everything i eat! :( how long does the first trimester last?? I'm ready for it to be over! Lol i feel like it's pointless to eat because I'm just going to throw it up.. Advice please, oh to forgot to mention first time mother so I'm all new to this.

I had morning sickness in my first trimester it went away around 15 weeks and I'm not 31 weeks and I have it back again its just not as bad!!!

I was given Zofran in my first tri after going to the hospital dehydrated due to severe nausea. It worked really well for me, it made me very loopy an sleepy and can cause a headache. But taking it was sometimes the only way I was able to eat a meal during my first trimester.

There hasnt been enough studies done to say if there is an actual correlation. Some say yes, some say no. Animal testing says no. All defects they say might be caused by it occur in the first trimester. I've been on it all the time and never had an issue with birth defects, I'm on it for ibs.

My dr told me it can cause harm to the baby in the 1st trimester. Once I was in my 2nd and still sick he prescribed to me and it worked pretty well for me. Talk to your dr about it.

I keep seeing this ad on tv about zofran causing birth defects and other serious problems. Im freaking out because i was prescribed zofran in my first trimester!!!!! Any one else seen this ad and or taking zofran?!

I took it in my second trimester. My dr said it's been linked to birth defects if taken in the first trimester so he waited to n prescribe it.

I'm about 11 weeks, I'm still nauseous often. Just depends. I hear it goes away after the first trimester but I've also heard that it can last throughout. I try to drink lots of water when I feel sick and saltines and yogurt worked for me.

some women have it the whole pregnancy but it usually goes away in your second trimester and CONGRATULATIONS!!! pregnancy is a weird but joyful filled ride...I'm a ftm myself...

But all I could do was take Zofran and eat enough to survive, I even dropped weight in my first trimester, which my doctor assured me is 100% normal.

I took it my first and second trimester. My daughter was born perfectly healthy and normal.

He did once I entered my second and am still sick. He told me that it has been linked to cleft palets if taken in the 1 st trimester.

Just ranting... Ugh.. I'm 9 weeks tomorrow. I just want out of this first trimester. This is my second pregnancy. I had a missed miscarriage last November. I was more or less forced to carry my dead baby for 5 1/2 weeks.(horrible doctors with that pregnancy. New amazing doctors this time) That experience weighs on me a lot. I had an ultrasound at 6wks and another at 8 wks. Baby is doing amazing and has a strong heartbeat. My morning sickness is really taking a toll on me.

I lost 32 pounds in my first trimester and did not eat my first real meal until I was 16 weeks. Zofran saved my life!!!! The pills didn't work because I would throw them up so I have a Zofran pump that pumps Zofran into my stomach 24 hours a day! The doctor also has me on Reglan too; which pretty much does the same thing as Reglan. Although I am 38 weeks and have taken Zofran non stop for 32 of those weeks, it was Heaven sent!

I'm 9w today and I've had all day morning sickness, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, burping, restless leg syndrome,exhaustion and really bad aggression since 4w. I am seriously miserable and can't leave the house for more than an hour. Is it bad to say that I hate this sickness because I do? I love my baby and feel really bad for saying that but I feel like I just want to sleep this part out already. I can't handle another second of the nausea.

Mamas that have used it.. is it safe to have zofran the whole pregnancy? I am 7 weeks but I depend on it because my nausea and vomiting is really bad but want my baby to be safe.. Thanks!

In my first trimester I was so sick I was losing allot of weight and couldn't eat anything. My doctor said he wouldn't prescribable me zofran because it can cause heart problems in mommy. My Dr gave me phenergen and said he didn't like to give me that either but it's the lesser of two evils because it is known to sometimes cause muscle tightness in mommy.

Small meals, crackers before i got up, ginger none of it worked for me.

Thankyou Jaci1024 I have been perscribed odanestron UK which is Zofran in the US. The doctor scared me a little and explained it hasnt been tested enough in the UK and said its 'off label' but ive got to do something now as its getting ridiculous I havent kept down anything today.

I tried to take the pills but I was way to sick for that! So I have been on the Zofran pump (pumps Zofran into my stomach 24 hours a day) for the last 3 months. It's been "Heaven sent" for me! I lost 28 pounds in my first trimester and was unable to eat or drink anything for 11 weeks! Now because of the pump, I can eat anything and have gained 3 of those pounds back!

( talk to your Dr about medicine. I was hesitant to take medicine because I thought I could get through it but I am 27 weeks and still have morning sickness without the zofran. Snack throughout the day until you get medicine. Granola bars and Apple's with peanut butter helped me.
