Avatar f tn I'm 9 weeks 4 days and am desperate to find a cure for morning sickness... I can't keep anything down... Tried vitamin b-12 like my doctor said but that isn't helping... Has anybody tried the sea-band and had a positive experience?? Please! I'm miserably sick..
Avatar f tn Thanks to BeeJ8 for recommending the sea bands is working for me too. I just hope they keep doing their thing.
Avatar f tn sour things help (lemon) sea bands and they have prego pops. Nothing worked forme, but good luck!
Avatar f tn m sorry you are having a rough time. You may consider sea bands for motion sickness and also the sea band brand of ginger gum. I found relief off and on with them. I've also heard that b12 vitimins can also help with nausea. I found that for me pretty much anything ginger seemed to help me (even though I hate ginger). You can buy Ginger capsules at most vitimin shops. As always, saltines and water, preggie pops, and time. I hope you feel better soon.

Avatar f tn Does anyone else have nonstop morning sickness? I am in week 15 and still having bouts almost daily. I have tried everything- Sea Bands, crackers, ginger, peppermint, lemon, small meals, even prescription Zofran. There is no rhyme or reason to it either. One day it is in the morning, the next it is in the late afternoon, and the next it wakes me up in the middle of the night.
Avatar n tn Have u tried a sea band? They are designed to put pressure between the 2 central tendons in the wrist! I haven't tried it for morning sickness but it worked for sea sickness with me and it's supposed to work for both!

Avatar f tn I would drink gingerale...but the dr can also prescribe you zofran it worked wonders for me i used to through up n get nauseous all day. although without insurance it can be pricey.
Avatar f tn Sure thing! Also try sea bands, ginger snaps, and I'm not supposed to have salt, but found a lime salt that saves my car rides! My doctor even prescribed Ondansetron (Zofran) for me. I've even tried essential oils, but most have such an overwhelming scent it triggers even more sickness!
Avatar f tn I ended up with prescription for zofran from the doctor. My nausea was so severe I was constantly becoming dehydrated. I did like these things called ******* pops from babies r us. They helped.
Avatar f tn I tried crackers, small meals, gingerale, and preggo pops, but at the peak of my nausea my doctor had to give me zofran. For the headaches I took Tylenol and had some caffeine if they got worse. Stayed hydrated and rest as often as you can. Good luck.
Avatar f tn Spearmint gum, anything with natural ginger, and worst comes to worst ask your ob or primary for zofran. I have also heard sea band works(used for motion sickness). My morning sickness has gotten worse with each pregnancy, this one I have a hard time keeping anything down. Just take care of yourself!!

Avatar f tn I'm actually relieved I'm not the only one to go through this. I've only been on zofran for 5 days and had already planned on discontinuing asap. Just need on top of the sickness and to be able to start keeping a few bites down Avery few hours.
Avatar f tn m 8 weeks 1 day pregnant and for a good 3-4 weeks now I have been struggling with morning (all day) sickness. My Dr gave me zofran and it helped a little but lord have mercy did it make me constipated. Not sure which was worse! So....does anyone have suggestions how to make it go by a little easier. I'm vomiting 2-3 times a day and just constantly have upset tummy. I am taking a stool softener to help but have been sparse on the zofran. Any possible natural way to treat this feeling?
