Talk to your doc about it. Check the government site about zelnorm, or the site for the company that makes zelnorm. It should give you more information. The extreme right-sided pain could be due to gallbladder issues. Talk to your doc about it.

I have IBS and have taken Bentyl and Zelnorm, my doctor took me off the Zelnorm because he said, it was a dangerous drug. Is this true ?

last thursday I had taken a zelnorm because i had not had a bowel movement in about a week. since I have not stopped using the bathroom, all day and throughout the night, if i eat or drink anything I have to run to the bathroom within minutes and I have pains and bloatiness in my stomache. this has never happened before when I take the medication. I am afraid to leave the house and I have lost 5 lbs. any suggestions?

The sling that was recalled studies were done on it years ago back in 2007 and the company knew that it had a suffocation risk. The babies head shoudl always be out of the sling and the baby should never be curled in a C position laying nor upright! That is the problems not the slings. I had a mammogram in 2007. My next one was 10/10/13.(Bad, I know) The results from this years was "normal". A few days ago, the office called me back stating they had just received the results from '07 (different Dr) and would like to do another mammogram. My question is, why would my latest results ("normal") supercede any other one??? I'm confused!

ve had IBS with constipation for over 15 years. Before Zelnorm was removed from the market, THATS when the straining REALLY started. My parents & grandparents say I was practically born constipated. So back to my question, is there a chance the strokes came from my bathroom troubles. Any ideas?

47 Year old female -Chronic insomniac. Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue in 1997, RLS in 2000. In 2002 I had 2 thoracic disc removed and I have gone through some chronic pain management (injections).I don't take any meds for pain as they make the insomnia worse. I had been treated for ADHD with ritalin from 1985 until 2005. March 2005 I was diagnosed with gastropareis and treated with Zelnorm until it was removed from the market.

I have taken Zelnorm which has been very successful for me, but I have IBS with constipation and then when I haven't gone to the bathroom for a couple of weeks, the diarrhea happens. Have you tried Zelnorm?

I do have some experience with this problem. Mild heart attack in 2007 (most probably caused by spasm, arteries were in pristine condition), followed by insertion of 6 cypher stents to support the one artery: 1 x 18mm, 1 x 23mm, 2 x 30mm and 2 x 33mm. Three and a half years later in 2010, naturally I was no longer taking dual anti-platelet therapy that long post-stenting - just the 81mg aspirin. how were you originally tested for syphilis? do you recall? was it just a visual diagnosis or did you have testing of the open sores or blood testing? I can best help you with your herpes blood test results if you get the results to post here - e.g. hsv1 igg 4.9 and hsv2 igg 4.3 or whatever they are. do you know if herpes testing was a part of the testing you had when you were diagnosed as having syphilis?

This looks like "official" matter. What meds are in question? Colonoscopy showed something? IBS is not a disease at all, and there's no drugs for IBS, as I know (my opinion). Zelnorm was even withdrawn from the (U.S.) market last year, now it might be back again.
