But try to catch it before you lose it. Try to take note of the signs and switch your mind set before you sink deep into the tears.

Avatar n tn depression and anxiety goes, that will involve more than breathing exercises. They can help a lot, as can yoga, and meditation, whether from yoga or other traditions is probably better still for this. Avatar f tn I love quotes too...there's one I just heard by Mike Tyson I'm trying to remember. I heard it on the radio the other day. He said something like,"My personality is such that I always have to be in conflict. Whether its with somebody else or with myself... and he went on to say that when hes in conflict with himself...hes making changes....something like that. I know I didn't do it justice right now but I tried. :( Wish I had wrote it down.
Avatar m tn I find that when I become aware that I can't quite catch my breath, I take a few minutes and I focus on relaxing my shoulders (as usually find they are raised to my ears!) and then focus on my chest and imagine it expanding, giving my lungs more room, and then do a few rounds of abdominal/belly breathing - it works. The more you practice this the easier it is and you will end up doing it automatically.
