Common Questions and Answers about Yoga quotes balance

yoga

Avatar f tn I've done yoga - I do yoga. Daily. It's been fabulous for spasticity and balance. I'm a full-time cane user now but was able to hold it off for years through a combo of balance PT and, IMO, yoga. My suggestions: 1. Try to find a yoga teacher who has worked with people with MS. I've met yoga teachers who didn't have that experience who thought MS issues were muscle issues. And, they might be but they're message issues first. 2.
Avatar n tn i want to ask that if yoga therapy is the best way of losing weight.
2046875 tn?1340231119 So i was sitting on a yoga ball at my friends house today and i reilized that if i sit on it with my legs apart against the couch, it takes alot.of pressure off my midsection. So tonight my wonderful fiance went to wally world after work tonight and bought me my own :) i know im not suppose to bounce on it as it can induce labor but i was wondering if anyone knew any safe ways i could use this to strech or workout to get ready for labor. Any knowledge anyone has would be great! :) thanks!!
Avatar f tn So, I just had my first prenatal yoga class and it was amazing. The stretches helped my lower back soooo much. I highly recommend it!
11119474 tn?1428702170 I personally use my kitchen benches or the hallway to help with stability, I use ankle weights, a wobble board, walk my floorboards, balance on one leg (lol), modified yoga etc to specifically work on improving my balance. Ti-chi and aqua aerobics were highly recommended, there's too many issues for me but definitely worth considering. Food for thought...........
1374564 tn?1295059520 I have been clean for 47 days now and I am feeling pretty darn good except for the fact that my balance is now shot. I cannot walk a straight line to save my life and if I close my eyes while trying to stand or even sit still,, my body will lurch or rock forward. Has anyone else had this problem and does it get better?
10456991 tn?1427890197 s hard but finding a way to even yourself out helps. For some people it is meditation, some yoga, some music, some playing with their animals, some aromatherapy, some going for a walk, some reading a devotional or uplifting quotes. But try to catch it before you lose it. Try to take note of the signs and switch your mind set before you sink deep into the tears.
424839 tn?1268186246 My question is about these quotes I have been posting I would like to know if I posted some on religon would that offend anyone being that must would be refferancing Buddhsium but when you read the quotes the can be transfered into anyones faith so I would like to know if people would be offended thanks.
Avatar f tn aerobics, balance, strength, and yoga...you can pick what works for you as you please. I do the low-key aerobics and the balance exercises primarily, although lately, I've cracked open a few yoga poses, too. Finally, it will keep in track weight wise because it tells you your BMI and tracks it for you. I LOVE this thing.
Avatar f tn I have been doing lots of research and have a few more questions. Do any of you ride horses? If so, has it helped with balance, walking, gait, etc? Who participates in yoga? How many of you meditate regularly? Have any of you been tested for Candida? I just asked my neuro to test me for candida. He has tested me for everything under the sun and I have some suspicion that I could have candida and leaky gutt.
10683890 tn?1412893806 Its 30 minutes which I find extremely long because I cant relax for that long but I do it so far for nine minutes at the most and its great. yoga is key for better balance and health overall, if I could just make myself do it more. I totally agree with you. ty for the titles!
Avatar f tn I wouldn't advise a bike unless it is stationary, balance is a little off haha. Have you been exercising throughout the pregnancy? I would talk to your doctor first, and see what they suggest for exercise. Things like yoga, walking, swimming, etc all are recommended typically. Low impact seems to be the most common.
738075 tn?1330575844 I sure can, about the yoga and balance. I sort of flunked out of yoga a couple of months ago. My arms and legs shook too, and I had to hold onto the back of a chair half the time. PT did help the balance quite a bit, so you may want to look into that. I even got better at the tandem gait (heel to toe drunk driver test). At least I could tandem 'stand still' after quite a few PT sessions. Good luck on your LP. Mine was truly the merest nothing, done in a hospital under flouroscopy.
Avatar f tn the curve to about 4 different brands of hearing aid to see which one would help compensate the best - hence my Oticons. As for your balance, do not give up! Take some Pilates and/or Yoga classes to build up your core strength and master basic poses to help you gain balance. I have a terrible balance problem which has been vastly improved with exercise. Good luck to you!
4907540 tn?1361976855 I really like Yoga and I get a lot of benefit from it. It helps a lot with my balance issues. I also like working out in the pool.
