Avatar f tn After a day or two of taking the PPI, after doing some Yoga poses for indigestion (that turned out to cause heartburn), my heartburns started. Initially milder (pain level 3/10). I also took antacids which helped. But I've been taking the PPI for 7 days now and it seems like the heartburn is getting worse (today for a short while the pain was around 5 or 6/10) and the antacid is less effective. The indigestion symptoms also remain.

Avatar f tn This morning I did do yoga poses and yes I farted but by straining. It’s like yes I pass gas but not enough for relief. The dull ache is still there. I am barely able to eat because of the indigestion and not being able to fart. I did a suppository it worked but barely anything came out. Now I’m just defeated and don’t know what to do. I’ve never had issues like this. I have an appointment for a gastroenterologist on the 16th but I don’t know if I had take not eating until then.
Avatar f tn It could be any of them, if it's just in the chest it's heart burn, if your getting the feeling of feeling sick in your throat then more than likely it's indigestion

Avatar n tn I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.
Avatar f tn I do some yoga. I tend not to do an entire program but I do use some poses and occasionally pop on my prenatal yoga CD for a bit. I enjoy cat/cow and tree pose and downward facing dog and child's pose a lot. Hip rolls and torso twists. Also do some modified planks now. I really fell off of my exercise regimen after getting pregnant but I do try to at least stretch every day, do a touch of yoga, and do some leg and arm lifts and curls with light weights.
Avatar f tn Omg it's a life saver. I've been doing yoga for years & it's so good for your body but most importantly your mental state. I'm only 9 weeks but plan to keep practicing throughout my pregnancy. Just tell the teacher you are pregnant if its not obvious & they will give you options if there is anything you should avoid. Stick with it you won't regret it.
Avatar f tn Is beginner yoga safe while pregnant? Or would I have to do yoga for pregnant women?

Avatar f tn ) I exercise everyday and started yoga last week which is not only great for losing weight, you tone up and become more motivated and helps keep a more positive mindset. I drink a cup of green tea 3 times a day and drink at least 8 glasses of water. I also have a cup of black coffee in the morning with a couple of sweeteners. It's naturally rich in anti-oxidants and boosts metabolism!

5679001 tn?1372219764 Sir, i am suffering from minor indigestion problem for the last 1 week. I do agree that i took lots of oily and spicy foods last week which has resulted in indigestion. Indigestion occurred to me in 2010 for the same reasons. Now its back again. I am going to try this below remedy : mix a teaspoon of lemon juice, a teaspoon of fresh ground ginger and two teaspoons of unrefined honey in a cup of lukewarm water and drink for immediate relief. Is it before meals or after meals?
