794091 tn?1264986339 I learned the how-tos from a dvd by Karen Voygt at home since 6 yrs ago. Sometimes, as much pain as the 'aftermath', my body craves it. By the way, I started out doing only 5 minutes tops.. Hope you continue to benefit from it...actually, many researchers point yoga as benefitial to FMS. How many days do you go in a week?
958098 tn?1246809218 You should not go to Gym at your age. Teenage is the best time for sports, if possible you can join swimming. If not you try doing skipping, jogging in the neighbourhood, floor exercises, yoga, basketball etc. Calculate your BMI and also according to your age prepare a neat diet chart and stick to that. Do not consume fried food, desserts, choclates, icecreams, fast foods, etc. Exercise combined with Diet will do wonders on you. Take care!

Avatar f tn I have been a stay at home mom since my first was born November of 2010, I had a second baby March 2012 and am now expecting baby # 3!!!! My question is how are you all handling taking care of and being around your kids all day? I LOVE my girls but sometimes I feel like I am going crazy, they are always around me or on me and if they aren't doing that they are fighting.
10033740 tn?1458081962 I just recently heard about pregnancy yoga. I'm thinking about buying a couple DVDs so that I can do this at home. I'm currently a stay at home mom, 12wks + 3, with my second child after 9yrs. I just wanna stay active and also fit for labor. Anybody try it before?

7819795 tn?1394500455 I am 39 weeks and 3 days. I want to induce my labor at home. The reason why I want to induce my labor is bc come to find out. My oldest sister has to have 2 different surgerys next week. And I want to be there by her side. But my due date is not till Monday. That I am hoping and praying that I have my daughter before my due date and that I don't go over. So what are some ideas that I can do to induce my labor at home. To speed things up.
Avatar f tn I've done yoga at home for about 4 years now. It is the best thing mentally and physically. I am in my first pregnancy so I can't say too much about that. But I know on pinterest they have yoga guides for throughout your pregnancy maybe a free alternative to paying for classes.
572651 tn?1530999357 Want to try yoga in the quiet and privacy of your own home? There is a free MyMSYoga program dvd ad that keeps flashing on my screen here at MedHelp. I have this DVD and it is very good. The program is sponsored by BioGen and you don't have to be one of their patients to request this resource. If the ad isn't popping up for you, here is the link for more information and to order a copy for your home use. http://www.msactivesource.com/ms-yoga.
649848 tn?1534633700 Barb ~ What a fantastic, insightful and honest look at yoga, breathing, exercise and a confidence booster to boot! GREAT JOB and Thank YOU for the time and effort of making this post. Truly believe this will be one of the posts I refer people to frequently as exercise is all about trying something different and seeing what you like. Yoga builds our core muscles and does teach us to breathe well.
Avatar f tn So I wanna wear jeans to go home, has anyone ever worn jeans for a go home outfit? Would it be that uncomfortable?
Avatar f tn I really fell off of my exercise regimen after getting pregnant but I do try to at least stretch every day, do a touch of yoga, and do some leg and arm lifts and curls with light weights.
5807499 tn?1383275275 What do you ladies plan on wearing coming home from the hospital? I'm thinking a maxi dress or yoga pants & hoodie.
Avatar f tn I want to continue it even after i have the baby and see if theres any baby yoga for babies. Its helping to keep moving at an easy pace and its relaxing and helps me with my breathing. I just look them up on youtube Good luck.
Avatar f tn You can buy yoga pants at walmart or target. So you don't spend an arm and a leg for them!
Avatar f tn For home induction what have you ladies tried and what works?
Avatar f tn Okay so I can't go to the gym. I get really bad anxiety, like I'll go to walk through the door and start crying. I've always been this way. I walk an hour a day but I'm trying to get in shape and loose 10lbs for vacation in August.
Avatar n tn I never seemed relaxed at home. My husband is at work and I am home alone so what causes this anxiety. I take 25 mg of zoloft and 2.5 mg norvasc for hbp and .5 xanax at night for sleep. Any insights into this problem.
Avatar f tn I actually did yoga at home before pregnancy (waaaay before, but not within the last year). And I had taken a couple classes at an athletic facility before. This class was so much different. Things are not just modified, the whole process pertains to the pregnant woman and her needs. For instance, we're not supposed to do abdominal twists in the second trimester... or lay on our backs at 20 weeks. She tailored it to our pregnancy weeks.
Avatar f tn NS said he didn't find anything unexpected, and I don't think he was looking for anything in particular. He was also surprised at how quickly I noticed improvement in my breathing. I tire easily and my head/neck hurt constantly, but it's great to be at home! At least at home I can manage my own pain meds -- I didn't have a pump, so had to beg for meds all the time when pain got bad...then had to WAIT for pharmacy to send up my flexeril. So lame!
Avatar f tn Very safe and effective!
