Treatment resistance can be overcome by applying a cream with a combination of antifungals (Clotrimazole 1%, Miconazole nitrate 2%, Tolnaftate 1% and Butenafine hydrochloride 1%) and oral antifungals.
Very worried, I went to the doctor and she examined and said it was a yeast infection, she did a swab, and I have heard nothing back. She told me to get the canesten 3 day duo pack. I was finished this treatment on wednesday, and then over the weekend I started to feel some discomfort and a bit of itching down there, only closer to the opening of the vagina now. It's not sore, and I never had a lot of discharge, but it just doesn't feel normal.

Ive had a yeast infection with my son and my daughter. Yes antibiotics can throw off your PH balance so you could possibly have an infection. Any burning or discomfort should always be addressed with your OB to get proper treatment. In the meantine, drink only water and natural cranberry(no cocktail-too much sugar) and try to eat yogurt daily.
But now I have this burning feeling in my breast and read that it could be a yeast infection. It just started yesterday and today I decided to stop feeding him by my breast and just pump. I suggest you go to the doctor and confirm if it's a yeast infection or not. If you treat yourself for yeast infection and have a bacterial vaginosis instead, you will only make it worse.
