I actually thought I had a yeast infection recently but when monistat didn't work I went to my doctor and found out it was bacterial vaginosis..so I would say go ahead and use monistat and if it doesn't work then go to the doctor..

So I've had a yeast infection since I found out I was pregnant. My doctor finally gave me a prescription to get diflucan. But my insurance want pay for it because they he said it is a risk for the baby. Has this happened to anyone else? Or have you taken diflucan and everything turned out fine? Not to mention she only prescribe me 2 pills one every 24 hours and that's it.
Monistat does work I'm on day 6 on it. Mine just burned and itch. My yeast infection was on the outside and not the inside so I put the cream on the outside bc that's where it was killing me.

I checked online the desciption on this monistat. and it says that you shouldnt use it without a doctor examining first to be sure yeast infection is the problem... I get Yeast infections a lot.. and usually I use Monistat 3-day.. but this time I got Monistat 1-day. I used it last night and the next day it didn't feel any better, it just felt 10 times worse! I plan on waiting for 3 days and seeing if it gets better.. but eveb when I used the Monistat 3-day it never got worse after taking it. Do 1-day Monistats not work?
And also I heard not to wash with Dial soap..true?

It's confirmed that I have a yeast infection, so I went to Walgreens and bought Monistat 1 a (one day treatment) its the one with the ovule insert. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and I'm kind of nervous to use this product I have many questions like will it work?, can it harm my baby?
