I have been suffering from what I have been told is a yeast infection since December 9, 2013. I have had numerous doses of diflucan. I have also been given terazol 7 twice. I have also used monistat 7 a few times. Everytime I go back the my gynecologist is shows yeast on the wet prep that is done in the office. I had a one swab test done in March 2014 and it was positive for mycoplasma hominis and a bacterial infection. I was treated with Zithromax. I am scared to death.
Due to the antibiotics I had a yeast infection of the glans. Took first creams and was then prescribed 1 week of Itroconazole which was effective.
Two weeks without any symptons, except for some soreness of the glans and slightly swollen entry of the opening of the urethra. A couple of days I had a little colorless/clear but sticky discharge. Tried most creams ,and had a dyflican in fact had three no not at once one s week ,and it helped for a little ,but came back fell blown again could it have been I had a allergic reaction have not had a yeast infection for about 7 yrs.I don't have diabetes or HIV it's like it is hybernating.
