Common Questions and Answers about Yeast infection men bumps

yeast-infection

Avatar f tn little red bumps can mean alot of things. Men usually get tiny cysts around the penis. These bumps look like pencil point dots which are usally clear color. you claim you and your bofriend are STD free , if so then you have no STD. Could also be fungal , maybe yearst, yeast infections in men are not common , possible but not probable. i would go to your local free STD clinic and get free testing for peace of mind. Odds are you dont have anything to worry about.
Avatar f tn Does it sound like it could be genitial warts? Could it be from the yeast infection? I did leave the yeast infection untreated for a while; about 4 months because I didnt know what it was until I did go to the OBGYN a couple of weeks ago. Please help me im begging for any insight and suggestions. Ive been doing research but I cant seem to find a match. Please help.
Avatar f tn You could have some other type of infection. It sounds like a urinary tract infection. It may be a bacterial infection on the bumps as well. I would go in and see your doctor to have them test you to see if you have a urinary tract infection. Since it is Friday. If you are not diabetic you can drink a lot of cranberry juice and water and see if you feel better by Monday. If you don't go into the doctor.
Avatar m tn About 3 weeks ago, I found pin sized bumps on my groin area just below my belt line ( i have a small beer belly so it hangs over my belt) I waited 2 weeks before going to the dermatologist, He took a biopsy and have now been in agony freaking myself out for the last 2 weeks over what it could be and my appointment is on thursday.
Avatar f tn I'm 25 weeks pregnant. I've had a couple bacterial infections and recently I've noticed some little white bumps in the vaginal area. I was wondering if this could be from the bacterial infection? Or if it could be from a yeast infection? I have an appointment tomorrow but it's really worrying me and I was just looking for some answers.
Avatar m tn It is a yeast infection. Men get it too. You really should not have had sex with her while she was taking the medication. You also need to get some kind of fungal medication to take care of yours or she will get it again, then you, and so on and so on. I just don't understand why you could not wait a couple of days before having sex. Would it have killed you? Now, look where you are at. Thinking you have an std from something that could have been prevented.
Avatar n tn are your risk status and likelyhood of infection. As for that, the bumps you have noted are not due to HIV. I would bet a lot of money that you do not have HIV. The risk of getting HIV from performance of oral sex is estimated to be less than 1 in 10,000 if your partner is infected and we believe that estimate is likely too high. Furthermore, unless your partners were men who have sex with other men or IV drug users, the odds are very, very low that they had HIV.
Avatar f tn I have checked to see if I have any bumps anywhere near or on my vagina and I do not but my boyfriend has white headed bumps on his penis. Can we both have a yeast infection or is this more serious?
Avatar f tn We have partaken in unprotected oral giving and receiving with ejaculation. We also have a lot of protected sex. I had a yeast infection a couple months ago and I went to the doctors. She gave me Cannestein and it went away. I now have had swollen glands for a month and I have noticed some fleshy coloured bumps around the opening of my vagina. I have once again had itching and assumed it was a yeast infection.
Avatar m tn Sounds like a fungal infection. She may have had a yeast infection, though so mild she didn't know. Men are susceptible to yeast infections too. It is not an std so do not worry. It is actually a normal though annoying infection that can occur. Taking antibiotics would make it worse as they kill the natural bacteria that balance with the yeast in our bodies. Talk to your doctor about fungal infection...see what they say.
Avatar n tn So i have some growths on the shaft of my penis and i am wondering if it could be a yeast infection. the growths are small and in two patches. the growths are larger in one patch with about 5 or 6 of them and they are well the best way i can put it look like germs long cylindrical and smooth edges, slightly raised from the skin and skin colored. The smaller patch are just smaller dots. I first noticed them about 3 and 1/2 weeks ago. and they dont seem to have changed or spread anywhere else.

Avatar m tn I have a stubborn penile fungal infection for over 2.5 years and now several months ago it has spread onto my face and scalp. I have consulted several doctors who have prescribed me anti-fungal creams and oral medications which has helped me very little, but not able to cure it permanently. Once I stop applying the anti-fungal cream within 2 days I notice red bumps on my penis head & within 4 or 5 days I see a thick yellow cheese like mold on my penis head.
Avatar f tn i have had one sexually active i have only had one partener but i just got my first yeast infection and now i see white bumps is that normal? and i went to the doctors 4 days ago and she gave me the pill but it doesnt seem to help the itching comes and goes but its swollen and tender down there and its kinda fustrating is there anything else i can do to help get rid of it...
Avatar f tn The bumps are completely normal. Everyone has these but a mild yeast infection (a separate condition from your bacterial infection) can irritate the pores down south and cause the appearance of pronounced bumps. I would do a 7 day yeast infection treatment.
Avatar f tn I've was just wondering what are some common yeast infection symptoms? I just recently found out I'm pregnant and I've been particuarly itchy "down there". I'm really embarrassed and not sure if I need to go to a doctor or not. Are open sores a symptom??
Avatar m tn I had a very bad reaction to antibiotics I was on just before the bumps started coming in. I read somewhere that antibiotic use can sometimes cause a yeast infection in men. Also, I have had a recurring rash on my arm from a cast I had taken off around the time I started getting the bumps. Yes I am sexually active, but in a monogamous relationship. Lastly, I have been getting the bumps at a frequency that seems highly unusual for herpes.
Avatar m tn Yeast infection is an imbalance, if she is having frequent infections she needs to work with her Dr. I don't think this is related to a STD.
Avatar f tn Can my boyriend also have yeast infection? he has no symptoms.. but if he doesnt get treatment will he then pass it back to me when i am cured??
Avatar n tn You can get a bacterial infection from having sex with someone who has one or just from having poor hygiene in general. What type of bacterial infection do you mean?
Avatar m tn Some times our natural skins flora grows out of control from a change in our skins PH or even men can contract the womens yeast infection and since that area is often covered with foreskin, pretty easy to develop esp if you did not wash after intercourse.
Avatar f tn I purchased Monistat 7 and started treating what I thought was a yeast infection. I noticed that there was a small bump on the right side of my labia minora, but it was painless and was not filled with any pus or liquid. I also noticed little finger like pieces of skin in a straight line leading to my vagina. The area was very red and I was experiencing some itching and discomfort. No buring during urination.
Avatar n tn I had a follow up yesterday, and no relief. She took a culture, and it came back as a yeast infection, and now she prescribed Oxistat 1% lotion. What a ride. So here are my questions: 1.For a yeast infection, would you prescribe oxistat? If not, what? 2.If oxistat is the right medicine, when can i expect relief? This has been going on too long! 3. How did I get a yeast infection? 4.
