Avatar m tn I am 20 week and I been having frequent (3 yeast) infection the doc prescribe a yest infection pill and said if i have another yeast infection she will have to test to see if i have an std. With the yest infection everything cleared up but the strong odor. my question is: if it was trichomoniasis would the yest infecton pill have ANY affect on the symptoms that trichomoniasis have. Everything is gone but the bad smell. It is not as bad but it is still there.
Avatar f tn Hello, All wines contain sulfites, because yeast naturally produces sulfite compounds during the fermentation process, and without sulfites, wine would spoil and oxidize. White wine has more sulfites than red wine. Foods may legally contain sulfites at levels ranging from 6 to 6,000 parts per million. The legal maximum for wine is 350 ppm, but the average content in premium wine is under 40 ppm. Inexpensive wines generally have higher sulfur content than expensive wines.
1094370 tn?1317134825 Good Afternoon everyone, Although I'm not having any problems, I'm a little worried about having a yeast overgrowth problem with being on all these antibiotics. I am taking Florastor morning and night with my meds like my LLMD suggested. I am not taking any refrigerated or other probiotics because he said they don't go together with the antibiotics.
Avatar n tn Trying to mask the smell with perfumes or anything scented will more than likely make the problem worse. Perhaps you should try a different diet. Drinking water is a good body cleanser. I'm not sure what brings this on as I've had this happen to me a few times. It hasn't lasted as long as you say yours has but I find it's something I have to let ride out. I notice that I'll have that smell right before I get a yeast infection--not sure if there is a link.
Avatar m tn this is very annoying. recently i was careless with bread that had dextrose which i found out could be gmo corn. that gave me a mild fever and sickened me for 2 days. then the second time i selected a fresh bakery bread that i thought didn't have any baddies. but this one had only 2 suspicions, thiamin mononitrate and yeast. as it turned out yeast could've be gm and gm yeast had already been approved to make wine in the usa.

Avatar n tn Fast-forward a week later (yesterday) I visited a dermatologist who said that I had Yeast infection and gave me a prescription for another cream. I am aghast as to how I can have yeast infection when I had protected sex. To top it off I have been suffering from mild flu like symptoms with a sore throat which lasted for 2 days and started to go away when I used a over the counter sore throat medicine from CVS.
Avatar f tn I am showing no symptoms of chlamydia or any other sti, however my long term partner believes she has a yeast infection as she has experienced some discharge the last few days, no other symptoms. Of course this has me panicked! Now for my questions: 1) I have had chlamydia in the past and experienced symptoms (pain in testes). As I have experienced symptoms before would I experience symptoms every time I contract the infection? 2) Can chlamydia be transmitted during the incubation period?
Avatar f tn I keep getting bacterial infections have one now but this one lead to a yeast infection but I'm guessing that came from the antibiotics they put me on
Avatar m tn If it's on the outside of your scrotum it's not a yeast infection but a different fungal infection akin to athlete's foot called jock itch. The topical cream takes a while to work, it doesn't work right away. Sometimes you can get rid of it with natural antifungals as well. It often comes back, because the fungi just hibernate until the area is again amenable to them -- moist, sweaty.
Avatar f tn Hi Lizzie Lou, What I mean is that I feel as if I am full of yeast, in my system, and it seems to get worse when I eat sweets etc., or drink wine. I did a yeast test, where I spit into a glass, to see if there was yeast in my saliva, and the test showed that my saliva was 'full of yeast'. The thing is, I am too scared to go for a test. And if it was HIV, why would it have manifested so early? Thank you for your help. Maria.
Avatar f tn I'm 25 weeks pregnant. I've had a couple bacterial infections and recently I've noticed some little white bumps in the vaginal area. I was wondering if this could be from the bacterial infection? Or if it could be from a yeast infection? I have an appointment tomorrow but it's really worrying me and I was just looking for some answers.
Avatar f tn How many of you had a yeast infection from breast feeding? Did you guys get flu symptoms?
Avatar f tn Im 11weeeks pregnant n im suffering from urine infection! Is anyone else on the same boat.
Avatar n tn I've experienced a mild discomfort lately with a slight itching and burning sensation. There's a milky drainage too. I thought it could be a yeast infection from my spouse. I was informed that men can get yeast infection too. So is this what I'm experiencing or is there need for greater concern and how can I get relief or cured?
Avatar f tn Can my boyriend also have yeast infection? he has no symptoms.. but if he doesnt get treatment will he then pass it back to me when i am cured??
Avatar f tn s a yeast infection but get yourself tested for STIs/STDs as if you find yourself clear from everything it will definitely rule that out and make you feel a lot better.
Avatar n tn Ohhhh this is really interesting. I recently concluded I was allergic to alcohol, though I knew it wasn't the actual alcohol, but something in it. Most beers cause major congestion, shortness of breath and fatigue. Every now and then, I find a wine that does, too, but I've never really known if it's wine or a food I'm eating that does it, so I haven't investigated that as thoroughly. Beer definitely does it. Mixed drinks don't. Pizza, breads, etc.
Avatar f tn Also, try to avoid baths and go straight for the shower only. I get a yeast infection nearly every time I use a bath. I am just so sensitive down there. The only thing I use in that area is water and dial soap when showering. I too would feel itchy and burning durring the ttc times of the month and my dr said NOT to treat it. Let it be and after the ovulation time window is closed, then start using vagisil wipes EXTERNALLY.
Avatar n tn Everyone usually has yeast infections and they are annoying, not dangerous. It's just an overgrowth of yeast in the vaginal cavity. I can't imagine putting up with a yeast infection for 3 years but it won't affect your fertility.
Avatar n tn yes it is possible for you to have a yeast infection or the tampon or pad your using could be the cause of it some people get a irritation from them
Avatar m tn Could just be a yeast infection, could be something worse. Condoms only partially protect from viruses under the skin (invisible) like herpes (doesn't sound like you have that though), and worse, genital warts which take many weeks or even months to form/grow/become visible. The good news is (at least from what one of my best friends had so bravely shared in the past), if it is warts, they can be frozen off. I would still go to a gyno regardless and stay away from the guy for now!
