730826 tn?1317943334 Im not vomiting any more but still am nausious. Its been a month since then. Can the side effects last this long or is there another reason for the nausea?
1761691 tn?1313171747 with the Ortho it took me 4months to get over the side effects. took it for 6 months before TTCin n it wasn't so bad. as for the Yasmin, it gave me horrible migraines and I kept on vomiting every time I took it. if ur sure about the Yasmin pills then I'd recommend that u wait until u finish ur ortho first to avoid unnecessary bleeding. Good luck!
1051017 tn?1349636853 I've personally never been on Yasmin, but I have heard from other women about the side effects they experience. They almost always end up switching to another brand.

1313343 tn?1274833215 Aren't such side-effects as abdominal cramps have been reported for Yasmin? As I have found them in the drugs description.
1238678 tn?1321857976 I am currently waiting on my second lap surgery for my Endo and my doctor has decided to start me on Lupron. I have a lot of worries about this medication but he assures me it will help with the pain. Can anyone that's been on Lupron let me know what you thought of it, and what side effects you experienced/how you dealt with them? Thanks!
Avatar f tn Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with endo 6 months back and was operated on immediately. The gyne later commented i had stage 4 endo which was very sever at my age (I'm 26 this year). Subsequently, i was given Decapeptyl for 3 consecutive months, stopped for 3 months and now starting to take Yasmin..I've read about the side effects of Yasmin but there seems to be few people taking Yasmin to help with endometriosis..can anyone advise?
Avatar n tn I was on the pill and had side effects from yasmin but tricyclin was ok and alesse was good too. I cant remember to take tehm daily so Im switching to the ring and see how that goes.
Avatar f tn Has anyone had any bad effects from using Yasmin birth control? I had my iud removed and the dr. put me on yasmin but before i start taking them i just wanted some feedback... thank you...
484167 tn?1210001396 She has had breast tenderness, very moody, break through bleeding, low sex drive. I undrstand these are all side effects of that pill. You can e-mail me at rocky1977_98***@**** to chat more. Would love to compare notes. Did you have breakthrough bleeding?
1019152 tn?1336074292 Hi, I happened upon your post. Although I don't have an answer just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year!
Avatar n tn I have heard about Yaz and Yasmin causing more of a risk for blood clots in women....BUT (yes there is a but) almost all birth control pills can cause blood clots especialy if you have had them before, or have had a family history of them. If your nurse wants you to switch to a genric then you can still take Yasmin (but it would be Ocella). It's the same thing.
Avatar f tn However, I have read about terrible side effects from people that stopped, too. Anyone have experiences to share?
Avatar n tn i had an endometriosis to my left and right ovary, can u please help me what is the best medicine to cure my endometriosis,my ob gave me ladogal, but it had so many side effects to me.what should i do?i want to have a child,is it possible for us to have a baby?
Avatar f tn Hi Mils86, I'm extremely familiar with Yasmin and it's post-side-effects. I was on the pill for 7 years before I decided to come off of it and let my body regulate itself out, much like what you're wanting to do. About three months after coming off of the pill, my cycles were highly irregular and I experienced similar symptoms to what you're describing.
136956 tn?1688675680 After my surgery i was on Lupron for 3 months but had to come off due to the side effects. I went right back on the marvelon as directed by my doctor but I am having some problems. Very painful breast, stringy discharge, acne and I feel like I am ovulating. Should I be on a different pill or is the side effects from the Lupron still? I also started to have sex again and i felt a very sharp pain on the left hand side inside my vagina like it hit something.
Avatar f tn Breast tenderness; bleeding or spotting between menstrual periods; nausea; stomach cramps or bloating; vomiting; weight gain i have also heard that pco's may cause spotting so i guess i could be a sing of the yasmin, the pco's or pregnancy. just to be sure you should do a pregnancy test and if you are pregnant or not you should visit your DR.
Avatar f tn The gyne was stumped as to which BC pill would be best, as Yasmin is for the PMDD, but causes the side effects for her. Other pills have a different chemical make-up, but more estrogen can cause more mood swings. Does anyone else take Lexapro and Lamictal in addition to a BC pill to suppress periods? Thank you!
Avatar f tn Has anyone had any bad effects from using Yasmin birth control? I had my iud removed and the dr. put me on yasmin but before i start taking them i just wanted sme feedback... thank you...
Avatar f tn Hi, I have recently been put on this Pill by my doctor which I was dreading taking as I have read so many bad reviews about it online, just wondered if anyone has had any good experiences with this Pill?
Avatar f tn Hello, I'm 19 years old and just got diagnosed, as one would say, with ADD/ADHD rather recently. I was given a prescription for Concerta 36mg to be taken daily. This is the third week taking it and I have been noticing some odd side effects. On days when I take it in the morning and don't eat I feel nauseous and generally off, which I was warned about prior so it doesn't worry me as much. However, I have also noticed quite a difference in my mood.
Avatar f tn I've always had good luck with Yaz and Yasmin. Yaz has fewer side effects and most people can tolerate it and it works. However- everyone's body is different, and until they get the hormone balance right, you could have spotting, etc. I can say, that most likely- there is a pill out there that you could tolerate. Good luck.
