It depends on which pill you are using. I have an good experience of Yasmin Pill. I bought it from mypillshop. If you missed 2 doses of yasmin, take them on next or as soon as you remember, then you can not be pregnant.

I've been on birth control (yasmin) for over 4 years now and never missed a dose. I happened to have slipped up recently and missed almost 5 pills. However, if you are going to choose a low-dose mono-phasic pill there is no reason to jump straight to yasmin. Yasmin and Yas are new types of hormones that other pills don't contain, but that does not necessarily mean they are going to be better for everyone. I also am on Yasmin birth control due to menstrual issues, I am on Metformin due to insulin issues. I am wondering when the Armour will help and will it help be able to come off the two other medications. I am on Tecfidera 240 mg dose. It just occurred to me I missed the morning dose. I have a call into the specialty pharmacy for direction. I didn't find much on the web except "take it as soon as you remember and if close to your next dose take it then but don't double up". If someone missed synthroid for 4 days, is it ok to take all the missed doses together? A friend went away and forgot their synthroid medication at home.

If you dont want to take bc pills you can either use condoms or maybe an IUD. Im not sure. Talk to your doctor. Yasmin is a low dose bc pill, so maybe that one might work.

I am only worried because I have never missed a period before with Yasmin, some are lighter than others but I always get some bleeding.

I was sick and on antibiotics so took yasmin double dose for 2 days only. The midcycle bothered me but now it seems to subside. Taking pills was a mistake, and being irregular even bigger. I went to see a Doctor and he ran untra sound test on me and fiound that i have PCOD and he advised me to take Yasmin to first regularised my period which i did, I had no problim during the first month of taking it, I started the second month on 22.12.11 and since 30.12.11 i have been spotted lightly, sometimes i have some blood-like discharge, black and brown colour. I am still on the pill as my Doctor told me that it is normal to spot lightly while on the pill.

I came off the depo provera 15months ago and did not get a cycle, so the drs did the hormone checks, scans and iternal checks and said all is ok but perscribed provera 10mg 3 times a day for 10 days, althought gt my perscription wrong so first dose 10mg 3x for 7 days. AF came 8 days later light but thought due to not having bleeding for a long time, second round i took the 10 days came on 9 days later even lighter stopped after 2.5days back on for a hour here and there till now day 6......
