3 months ago i have to get a new pack (i usually have yasmin) the chemist guy told me there was a generic brand (isabella) which was EXACTLY the same and i asked him over and over to make sure i didnt have to wait 7 days to have sex etc. I have a boyfriend of 4 years and we have never used a condom.

Hi, I'm new to the community, see you posted last month. I was on Yasmin, I think its related to Yaz but not the same for about two years. I had some really odd symptoms with Yasmin and begged my dr to take me off of it, since then I was on Apri, which is just generic desogen.
Well Ocella is the generic for Yasmin. I was taking Yasmin for 2 years, when last month I was given Ocella. Well I wasn;t too thrilled with it, as I had cramps for 5 days plus I started my period 1 day late. They say generic is always the same, but for me I felt a difference. It could be from the pill. Your body needs to adjust being on it. Side affects should lessen by the third month.
NOOO dont listen to that lady tryingfor6years on the yasmin birth control im in the process of sueing yasmin to see if i can get any kind of money from it!! after i stoped taken yasmin my stomach issues have gone away! i was in the hospital with ivs in me and cat scans etc... dont get yasmin there are reports of it on the internet etc. that product is going to be no longer sold as a birth control product.

I have been taking Cryselle (thats the generic name - I think it may be the Lo Loestrin but check with you dr). I have been on it for a few years now and haven't had any problems with weight. I may get a zit here and there but NOTHING near a breakout by any means.
Although they claim to not have any difference, I was on Yasmin (brand name) for a while and then was switched too Ocella (Generic) and I did notice slight changes in my period. In fact, I never missed a single period on Yasmin, but did miss one while on Ocella. The blue veins, I mean if your fair skin like me, I notice the veins all the time. Sometimes they are bluer then normal, but you can't always go by that being a symptom of pregnancy.
I researched Mylan pharmaceutical and the reviews were very poor. I also read the reviews of people who had been switched to this generic and people were really suffering. I told my doctor I would not take it. Her mistake was not looking into it to see why I was switched. If your doctor does not put on your prescription to give you only your name brand, the pharmacy will automatically switch you to the generic. But know that you do have the choice to ask to not be given a generic.
So long story short, my father's job doesn't support our health insurance anymore. I currently have a job at a temp agency and they don't provide health insurance either. My prescription for the newest asthma inhaler from my doctor now costs me $184 for one dose. I've taken Foradil and Advair before and they both work, so I started looking up affordable brands online.
A website says that they sell about a year's supply of generic Foradil prescription.

She was very rude and dismissive and made me repeat my situation three times and made me feel really stupid for being there (I read some reviews online that this particular doctor is generally rude and brushes patients off). I left very defeated and not sure where to go from here. I have been on Yasmin for 9 years so if this may be a factor I am switching from that to an iud. I have an appointment for the iud next month and hope that my body may adjust by then.
I have been on generic Yasmin birth control for 6 years. At the end of September I was switched from Syeda to Ocella. I was about two weeks late picking up my prescription. On October 5th I was sexually active and it was during the first week of my pill pack. I ended up starting my withdraw bleed during the third week of my active pills. It was light and spotty, only when I wiped. It lasted 10 days.
About three days into the spotting I got sore breasts, which I have never gotten before.
I am currently on Ocella (generic for Yasmin), I have been on it for almost a month, I start the inactive pills tomorrow night. Before I took Ocella, I was taking Yaz(and I switched immediatly). My last period lasted for 3-4 days. I should start my period on March 11th. Yesterday I had light pinkish/red blood when I wiped and some cramping and now I am having light brown discharge that is odorless. I have not missed any pills, and I do have unprotected sex.
Hi, my partner has anxiety/depression and the lexapro generic he is currently taking is not helping. Hes been on it since before i met him but its not helping. I need somewhere in orlando to take him but dot know where to start as weve just moved to the area. I dont know what to do.. He needs his meds changing..
So I hear (and I have also read) that yasmin is AWESOME for women with PCOS.. Any comments? I am about to switch from alesse to yasmin but I am nervous because there have been many birth control pills that give me uncontrollable mood swings, anxiety and depression. Alesse has been okay for me, not the best, but ok. Does anyone else experience this when they take birth control pills? I think that it is related very closely to PCOS.
