last month my partner and I became sexually active at the end of the month for the first time and my period came like usual - I’m on the pill.
This month I should've gotten my period today, but it's not here yet...I usually get it in the morning but it's almost
5 pm and still nothing! We use condoms as well as the pill so the chances of pregnancy are low but still existent, right?
Am I pregnant or just late?
MED HELP Doctors forum opined that it may be due to irregular use of Yasmin in high doses those 2 days and that my next period might be delayed.
Day 24 and 25, I had clear discharge that was sticky and happened some 3-4 times. Not sure what it is.....is it delayed ovulation??? can there be any chance of pregnancy??
I've been taking Yasmin 28 for nearly two years. As far as waiting for your period, it's supposed to happen during that week you are not taking pills (Yasmin 28 has placebos that I take during that week so I don't forget to start a new pack). I'm also waiting for my period, but it's almost two weeks late and all the tests I've taken are coming back negative.
Also when I first started taking Yasmin my period didnt come. i got worried and it finally came and it was about 2 weeks late.
My last period was around the 12 of November. I started taking the Yasmin immediately because I wanted to try to hold off the horrible PMS I've been having for the past 6 months or so. I realize I should've waited for my next period, but I'm a single parent and I'm not very nice to my 10 yr old son when pms hits. My question is, when will the contraceptive actually be effective?
I was taking Yasmin for 2 years, when last month I was given Ocella. Well I wasn;t too thrilled with it, as I had cramps for 5 days plus I started my period 1 day late. They say generic is always the same, but for me I felt a difference. It could be from the pill. Your body needs to adjust being on it. Side affects should lessen by the third month.
Yasmin (at least the only one I've ever heard of) is a birth control pill. It's not going to abort. If you've already ovulated, there is nothing that's going to stop it. Wait until your period is due and if it's late, take a pregnancy test. If it comes as usual, start using condoms and birth control.
Two weeks after stopping it I had bleeding before my period and three weeks later I was pregnant. I had the same type of symptoms. Is yasmin the bc that was recalled? I would take a test. When is your next expected period? Wait until then to take it. Do you have small bumps on your nipples? That is a sign of pregnancy and it usual goes along with the sore nipples. Is always good to take a test. You don't want to take it too early though.
With all the commercials you see on TV about YAZ and Yasmin and all the problems it has caused, i cant imagine that the positives out weigh the negatives. Currently I am on Levlen birth control, it has the minimum amount of estrogen and it works wonderful! But because everyone is different, i would suggest doing some research on birth control types and find whats best for her, then talk to a doctor about those types you have looked over.

i took yasmin for nearly one year then stopped(my periods were regular while taking yasmin), got pregnant after 2months of stopping yasmin, but unfortunately it was ectopic and so i lost it. i would advice you to be careful once you stop yasmin.
Also i was taking caltrate(vitaminD+calcium) tablets once a day.
I am also off depo for 14 months now. My dr put me on yasmin for 2 months to regulate my cycle because I didn't have a period. So I have been off yasmin for 7 months now and I have been on and off clomid the past 6 months and it didn't work. Is it possible that the depo shot is causing me not to get pregnant? How long does it actualy take to work out of your system? I've only used it once.
But this past time i had sex and now im worried. I started later then i usually do and never done that and my period was really light and its usually heavy and it only lasted 2 days and never done that either. And now 3 days later im spotting brown stuff. And i have had the most migraines and never get headaches and ive had heartburns really bad. And my stomach has been killing me badly.

As all the ladies said, you are probably not pregnant and I stress the "not pregnant" part. I would relax. Take the last two pills in the pack, you don't want to be messing with your cycle like that. Calm down, stress can cause a late period and you don't need that now. You are fine. I was on Yasmin for a year before my husband and I decided to try for a baby. I have since found out that I get pregnant very easily but NEVER got pregnant while taking the pill.
You could be panikcing and bringing on additional symptoms because of it. Also, maybe you are just late and the symptoms you are experiencing mean your period is on the way, and that stopping the pills like you did messed with your cycle. Take an at home test and see how that goes, and if need be call you gyno or regular doc to do a blood test or for further confirmation. Relax though, you don't want stress adding any additional symptoms that you dont need or want.
Guys please answer all the questions here, Is it possible to have the following symptoms (Late period, bright yellow urine, occasional nausea, bloated feeling and throbbing headaches on the left side of the head) and be pregnant? Here's a bit of background...

i have been on the pill yasmin for 6 months now and this is my first time bein late for 12 hrs. I usually take it 7pm but i took the last pill of my pack at 7am the next day of my schedule. I havent had any intercourse for the past week nor will i be planning to the week after that. I am not as concerned regarding my protection but wanted to ask about the action regarding what i should do with my next pack. I've read that i should skip my break week and start the new pack right away.
and i went to the doctors to try and change because my period had became bad again and my PMS was out of control along with the ache outbreaks, i felt that Yasmin had become inactive with my body. My doctor was reluctant to take me off it and convinced me to continue.

I would say your not pregnant if you always take your pill and haven't missed a period. those symptoms can be for a number of reasons but if it helps ease your mind I would take a test to make sure but I think your fine. good luck.
