I've been on Xyzal tablets for 5 years. was given these tablets because I suffered from itchy and runny nose. when I do not take the tablet for more than a day i experience itchiness all over my body especially on the arms and legs. please can you advise whether this is a withdrawal symptom?
That's a lot of Xyzal. I take 5mg/day and it's the most beneficial antihistamine I've ever taken. I've taken 10mg before and it knocked me out...lol. If I feel I need more antihistamine, I add Benadryl, but it's not often that I need to do that.
My answer: I've heard of people taking 10mg/day for hives and severe itching. I'm not sure how the dosing would be, but I can't imagine taking that much of it in the morning/daytime because it's so sedating.

I have been dealing with hives since 2000. All i have to do is be in the sun and i break out. I have tried Zyrtec, Allegra, Singular and now i'm on Xyzal. The Xyzal i only tried one time and woke up the next morning feeling like i was drunk and hit by a train. It left a horrible taste in my mouth. I am so sick of these hives. I'm getting married in August and have a terrible farmers tan and i am asking for any advice on what to do.
Hello, I was diagnosed a year ago with high blood pressure and was prescribed Amalodipine 5mg tablets to be taken one a day. I found i was having side effect trouble with my feet. The usual answer looking at Amalodipine side effects is swollen feet or/and more common is swollen ankles. I find that this is not the case with me, and want to know my problem.
The doctor told me to stop using it immediately after he heard that my body got some allergic reaction toward the drug. The doctor gave me XYZAL-sample medicine- for itching. He gave me four pills and plus a Cholestorel medicine called NIASPAN. He said if itching goes away after four days of using the XYZAL, then I will try Niaspin and see how my body will react.
Now, after using XYZAL for two days, my body is still itching, there is no diffrence yet. I got two more pills of XYZAL.

It's not clear what you're giving -- 5mg or five tablets. Only one tablet a day for anyone, and 5mg is too much even for an adult. I'd consult a professional anytime I gave anything to children, but doctors aren't likely to know much about melatonin as it's mostly given by natural practitioners. But even for an adult, 1mg is a good starting point. Remember, melatonin is only for somebody with a malfunctioning body clock, and people have different body clocks.
It appears that for it to have an effect at half an hour, you must have the 10mg tablet and NOT the 5mg tablet. So, if you want relief at half an hour and not later, make sure to ask your doctor for the 10mg Maxalt-MLT orally disintegrating tablets.

Omg pain. Called surgeons office , all I wanted was to ask if ok to take 2) 5mg norco every 4hrs instead of script he gave me 5mg norco 6hrs. I had just finished the oxy he sent me home with that was only 1 every 12. The RN didn't let me finish he thought I wanted more meds or oxy or something.

one 10mg Percocet tablet three times a day for two days; one 5mg, two 10mg for the next two days; two 5mg and one 10mg for the next two; three 5mg for the next two; then two 5mg only twice a day for a few days and then only at night; then see if you can break that in half and take 2.5 at night and so on. That way you can ease yourself off without a shock.

For this problem, I have taken medicine which I also use before sometime for the same problem. Each tablet contains 5mg Loratadine & 120mg Pseudoephedrine Sulfate. In past, it gives me good results but this time after taking this medicine my flu is batter but I can't sneeze. I have tried almost all methods like "Wiggle a tissue in the nose", "Look up toward a bright light", Sniff a spice etc but all waste.
Please, i want help. Is can't sneeze an illness?
