xyzal for stuffy nose

stuffy nose, occasional ear pain, nose pain, head pain (front of the head). If my nose is stuffy also really depends on the weather, and my posture, if I am lying or sitting it is usually really stuffy, but if I am walking, running, doing sport I can breathe easily.

I have been on Xyzal for 5-6 years and had to go off, suddenly, for a week due to allergy testing. I have itched and scratched myself until I have bruises on my legs, arms, and feet! It's absolutely horrible!! :( In response to the other person who replied to you, it's typically NOT an issue to stay on 2nd generation antihistamines, long-term. Nor is it a problem to quit them suddenly EXCEPT (apparently) with Xyzal and Zyrtec (both are Cetirizine-based).

I have stuffy nose for the past 5 years right now i can hardly breath with my nose .I use Otrivin nasal drops and currently the effectiveness of this nasal drop is diminishing.

Just wanted to share that Sophia has has a stuffy nose lately. No fever, no signs of a cold. The nurse at the office told us we could use infant saline drops and then use the nose aspirator to clear it out. We also tilted her mattress up(placed a thin pillow under her crib mattress) to help her breath better at night. The nurse said this was fine to do. All of this was done after I checked with the pediatrican of course.

I changed my pillow protector and I thought my problem was solved but I still wake up with a stuffy nose. Could it be my sleep apnea machine? Or something else? I'm fine once I'm awake and I go downstairs.
