My 1 year old has had a runny nose for almost 5 months now. He has always been a little snorty/congested, but when he got a mild case of RSV in February the runny nose never seemed to go away. I have taken him to several allergists. He did have the skin test which came back negative. One doc. said he needed to be treated for nasal infections (each test seemed to show a different bacteria) but after several rounds of different antibiotics I didn't feel comfortable and left that doc.
For the last few years my nose seems to run all the time. It seems to be worse when I am eating something. At night when I am in bed it doesn't run at all. I was wondering if theis may be allergy related since I have had seasonal allergies for years? It is something I have no matter what time of the years it is, though. It is so embarrasing to always be blowing my nose. It is just clear, so I don't think it would be an infection or anything.
but she has a lot of stuff down there so i cant get around much.i leave to go back home and my runny nose goes away.
I didn't get a runny rose until later in my pregnancy. Maybe around the second trimester. Ugh probably one of the more annoying symptoms.
im 30 week pregnant and I have a runny nose/ cold and it's very uncomfortable to sleep. What can I do or take?
Dear community, I've been trying to find a help for a really long time, I would immensely appreciate any help. My problems started more than 2 years ago, while I was in the US for a year (work related) There I had problems with my nose, i couldn't breathe and it was stuffy all the time. I survived with some kind of special nose spray, which helpes me to just stimulate the pain, I was also taking antibiotics, which helped me to get mucus out but the pain always came back.
Hi, I have mysterious allergy issue, for a long time I didn't know the cause of tingling/shaking, but now I do. My body tingles/shakes all over for day's, after I have a sneezing fit, always happens after I mow the lawn. I'll sneeze 10 times in a row, my nose becomes severly congested, then the symptoms begin. I even wear a mask, but still sneeze. No allergy med helps, I've tried em all, Loratadine, Claritin, XYZal, Benedryl, Zyrtec, etc.....
My eyes are VERY red and stingy almost all day + recurring runny nose. The nose is better after some sprays I got, but my eyes get so red and bothersome that it has affected my social life---I literally just don't want to go outside anymore! In the last few months I've been prescribed Aerius, Telfast + Allegra, Tafen, Claritine, Xyzal, etc. but my allergies are still raging.
What do you recommend?
Also, I will be spending all summer on an Mediterranean island (with a dry climate).
Like avis said if he stops the coke it will heal unless he has been doing it awhile and making a permanent hole in his nose, then it will not. I did coke for 5 years and having a runny nose is absolutely nothing and the LEAST of his worries. The damage coke does to the heart, nervous system and brain can be lethal and that is what i would be worrying about, not a little runny nose or hole through it.
As of now its exactly 27 days and after 20 days or so I had slight ear pain, inflamattion inside my nose. I have a runny nose where my left nostril is wet and runny and my right nostril is dry and if I put my finger inside, it feels rough. When I press the tip of my nose it pains. There was also a lot of kissing. I had ulcers in my mouth which lasted for 3-4 days. Are these symptoms of any STDS. Do I need to get tested.
Hey everyone, I've had chest and nose congestion for sometime now. I went to the doctor about a week ago when my symptoms were at its worse, intense wheezing, especially at night, runny nose, cough, and sneezing, that what was pretty much all I had but the wheezing was the worst part (I could hear myself breathing). My first doc prescribe me albuterol, prednisone and a z pack, I took eveything and started feeling better.
My baby is starting to have a cold, right now she's just coughing and has a runny nose not too bad but I want something to stop it before she gets more sick, which is a good medicine for it?
Then recently it has just been red patches that are around my nose and under my arms; with occasional patches on my arms, legs. I have been to my internist weekly since the last week of July. She sent me to a dermatologist who I have been seeing for a month now. No one can figure out what it is. I have taken everything from Benadryl, Xyzal, Zrytec, Singulair, Claritin, and Hydroxyzine. Nothing has worked. They have done blood work for lupus and many other blood tests.
