when does omnicef expire

When does Alprazolam expire? I noticed there is no expiration date printed on the prescription bottle. I've asked the pharmasist who filled the prescription on two separate occassions; but, recieved two different answers. The first answer was: ' One year after the perscription was filled'. The later answer was: 'Two years after the prescription was filled.' So that leaves me with not knowing which one to go by. The prescription was filled 10 and 1/2 months ago.

Hello my 12 year old was taking omnicef for a ear infection and 10 days into it she got hives all over her body and they come and go and really ichy do you think it's from the Omnicef?

I have had discharge and slight burning when I urinate for several weeks. I have had a round of Avelox a few weeks ago and recently Omnicef 600mg/day for 10 days and still have discharge. Question, wouldn't these antibiotics be affective against NGU, Chlamydia or Gonnorrhea? Thanks for the help.

She is now on 14 days of omnicef at 4.5ml of 250mg/5ml strength. She has received since the 14th omnicef 5ml of 150 (whatever the lower strength is)mg/5ml that was a 10 days script that she took 5 of because they then started rocephin injections on the 20th. About 1 year ago I as given Omnicef for a bacterial infection. After 3 days of tumultuous diarrhea, I finally stopped this drug but not soon enough. Ever since then, I have had stomach problems. It first started out as irregular and often BM’s, and then progressed to A constant gnawing or burning between my breastbone and navel in addition to erratic BM’s and gas, bloating, and just an overall lousy feeling within the digestive system.

I am on everything except the Cefidinir(Omnicef) bc she is adding that after we add the Septra and sees if it is well tolerated.

In May I had unprotected intercourse with a fairly experience older woman and about 3 weeks later I had burning sensation when I urinated. his pediatrician prescribed Omnicef for severe ear infections. She said there was a 5% chance hed be allergic to that but she wanted to try it out. well, he was allergic. After 3 doses he broke out in HIVES all over his face and scalp scratching and screaming in a way no child ought to scream. I immediately gave him benadryl and stopped the meds (wed at 9am was the last dose) it is now friday afternoon he has no fever but is still breaking out in some hives. they go away on their own.

Hi all, wondering if you have come across information indicating that flagyl can treat babesia at the same time it's treating Lyme. I understand it's also a antiparasitic, so not sure if that counts. My 4 yr.old son had an allergic reaction to Omnicef. Hives all over and swollen hands, arms and feet. It's been 18 days and still gets a slight case of the hives . Within the last week( 3 times) he's had leg pain(muscel pain) joint pain. He has a hard time walking, usually the next day he can, it lasts anywhere from 12-24 hours. The 3 times he's had the leg pain he's either been swimming or riding a bike, took him to the hospital, blood work, x-rays and urine all came back fine.

Just expires and then on to the next cycle. Im pretty sure they dont suspend it.

Then to add insult to injury when I took her for her 4 month check(one week later) up they discovered she had an ear infection and was wheezing a bit when she breathed. My ex-SIL worked as a medical transcriber and knew facts like that. So while something does expire it really just loses effectiveness over time. Since these are vitamins and not necessarily medications I would take them with OJ (helps the absorbency).

At first I didn't want him to get tubes either, but I think it is definetly better than him being on antibiotics constantly. It is scary thinking about your little one having "surgery" but I think in the long run it will be best. In terms of other things causing the infections, they drew blood to see if there were other problems, which there weren't. 5th and has had 3 ear infections and 2 sinus infections since then....feb.10th was his last dose of antibiotic (OMNICEF) and he has started having the same symptoms as he did before. with a few new ones...i dont know if he has become immune to the meds (ZYRTEC, ALBUTEROL-as needed- and OMNICEF) -OR- if its something more than sinus and ear infections.

I have swollen eyelids that come and go, almost like hives, but rarely itch. Can be one or several. On omnicef for sinus infection, but doctor doesn't think this is causing it. Before omincef had a sulfer type med that caused swelling in joints, sick stomach, rash, fever. Have been on Omicef 5 days. Started having strange raised bumps for three days that come and go. Will say that two weeks ago had actual hives around eyes and think it was caused from eye cream.
