The back doctor just prescribed Celebrex, is this the safest drug for her? Also what should people with Hep C do to better care for their liver eventhough so far she seems to have a healthy liver. For the osteoporosis she is on Fosamax. She has been on it for several years. I am just afraid that too many potent drugs can be harmful for her liver. But I realize that they do have to get control over the swelling on her articulations.

Has anyone used Celebrex for their Crohn's? I have severe joint point pain and I have been told that Celebrex is a huge help for this. I am wondering about side effects and medicine interactions.

I was on Celebrex 200 mg daily, my pain clinic dr also wants to add Cymbalta 30 mg for 7 days then 60 mg. My husband and I want to have children but are not activly trying at this point, it happens when it happens. I just want pain to stop or at least elevate more. SHould I take both together. My OB said it should be ok, My neuro dr said give it a try but pain clinic dr said don't. What should I do? I have taken it for 3 days now. I also have PCOS.

Her legs and feet stay swollen 24/7, sometimes they will go down a bit but most of the time they are so swollen and painful that she cant walk for more than a couple minutes and when she can walk she is in tears from the pain and holding on to things. She cant sleep at night because she cant lay down because of the pain so she literally falls asleep in mid conversation, sitting on the couch, sitting on the toilet, standing at the sink doing dishes, where ever she is.

I have been on the Toradol going into my third day and have had terrible headaches, stomach pain and occasional visual hallucinations (in the form of halos and dots in my field of view.) I will have a chat with my doc and see what we can do about a different treatment.

There are several meds that were originally made for seizures and now are used for pain management. I forget the names of them right now but my wife is on one that works well for her, but didn't help me at all. Try it and see, is all I can say.
