786158 tn?1236397775 Looks like you have a high stress job, and after years of coping with irregular beats I can tell you that stress is a big factor. So is the wrong food choices if you suffer from reflux or have a hiatal hernia. Start reading up on the relationship between GI issues like hiatal hernias and Acid Reflux and PVC'S and PAC's. I am convinced that there is a definite relationship. Most doctors don't get the connection.

See a cardio for meds... been diagnosed with abnormal sinus tachy with intermittent SVT nonsustained unsure about this cause never got above a beat of 165 which I am aware of .... Did have an episode of what I believe they called a-fib which left me totally wiped. Avatar n tn Which meds are they? If ARB or ACE inhibitor, it is possible that these drugs were responsible for shrinkage. Click on my screenname and read my numerous posts on the topic.

Avatar n tn I have high blood pressure, take three meds.( atenenol, avapro, monoxidil, and a statin) At least one med suggests that ankle swelling could result. An echocardigram awhile back suggested that my heart may be a bit sluggish as breath is expelled. I do not fatigue easily - people often comment on my activity level. I am trying to get used to a Cpap machine. I am 82 years old, but, again, they say I look like someone in my 60ies.
Avatar f tn I have changed detergents, eliminated all makeups, started using Cetaphyl for face wash. Any clues to what I should do next? Rash is mainly on left eye and one spot on cheek, small rash on right eye. I do sleep on left side. Other med is Avapro for HBP and I have been on that for 2 years. Thank you!
Avatar n tn I had been taking 150 mg of avapro for 10 years for high blood pressure. I recently lost 25 pounds and was able to maintain my blood pressure on 75 mg. in fact with a home machine my blood pressure is consistently low. It never goes above 106/70 and most often is 90-97/70-75. Would it be safe to stop taking the medication to see if I can keep the pressure from getting high? Or would it be safer to cut the pill in half and if so, for how long?
Avatar f tn I take avapro for blood pressure, immovane for sleep and now to quell the anxiety. I have frequent ophthalmic migraines (all sparkly lights, no pain) and have a pain migraine every two weeks or so. I can't get anyone to help me and with every week I am that much less functioning. Oh, I've also gained 40 lbs in six months; mostly belly fat. Please!! Any thoughts? Suggestions? Home remedies while I wait to get a doc to take me seriously?
Avatar n tn The Gastroenterologist recommended Liver Biopsy to check for liver damage. This is a scary procedure and I wanted to know if there are other alternative procedure/processes. Also, is there something I can do or treaments I can receive to treat this problem. I weight 122 lbs, and 5'4 tall. I take Glucophage XR, Januvia, Glipizide ER, Avapro (to prevent kidney damage, not hypertensive), Calcium with Vit D, Fish oil, Loratidine (hives as needed) and Zantac.

Avatar m tn m on BP medication (avapro 150mg). My BP is usually in check running around 118/70. No family history of heart disease (except Dad passed away from cardiomyapthy, was determined to be a non-genetic virus that attacked his heart). I'm 30 years old, 5'11 195 lbs. I try to eat pretty healthy, lots of fruits and veggies. Exercise a few times a week. I've had the following tests done.
Avatar f tn I am very concerned about the blood pressure and my resting heart rate is 54 to 60. It is not under any control at all. At times it has gone to 173 over 103, but normally about 148 to 160 over 83 to 96. I have clonidine left over from when I was given it several years ago when I had a problem and when I take it ..sometimes the blood pressure does go down to normal.
Avatar f tn I have 2 brothers living on different sides of the world and a sister who is frantic. My mother is also not very well. The dr told us that my Dad doesnt have heart failure and is stronger than most his age... but after my family have investigated they are sure it is heart failure. My Dad also sounds a little chesty. I am beside myself as my parents live with me. What should I do ??? Please rep;y as soon as possible.
1384238 tn?1286028762 I'm with Beema36 on this - ANS dysfunction which most dr's dismiss as many other things. Have you had a tilt table test to see what your system does during one? may be very helpful, so mention it to your dr but could it be that your meds have something to do with the symptoms?
Avatar f tn It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Avatar f tn I did nothing for the deadaches, and I am now taking divaloprox for them. This is helping too. I am also on verapamil, prednisone, avapro, vit B-12, vit-D, calcium, cymbalta, plavix, and ambien. I'm a walking grugstore I have recently develped Hoener's Syndrome, choking on liquids, a chronic cough, fecal urgency, and regurgitation. I fel as though I will drown if I lay flat. My neurologist says he just doesn;t know anymore. my symptoms are so scattered.
Avatar f tn What did or is everyone having for dinner? My husband and I are having a late dinner with steaks, stuffed pork chops and potatoes on the grill.
Avatar n tn I just want to add that the fact that Marfan has been "ruled out" doesn't tell us much. If you have even a handful of MFS signs, you still may lie on the connective tissue disease spectrum. For example, I know people who don't officially meet the MFS criteria and thus, for them, MFS is "ruled out," but for all intents and purposes they have some Marfan-like CT disease that can still have the same end result as untreated MFS. 5.6cm is not normal for anyone.
Avatar f tn //buynetmeds.com/product/aspadol-200mg/) medicine is designed for someone with migraine pain or uncontrolled body pain. Powerful ingredients of the tablet help to relieve pain quickly. Avatar f tn So you have a 30% chance of getting a negative test and still have the syndrome. The test is $5,000 for one person. If the person tests positive (a mutation already known and documented), members of the family can be tested for $900 each. Getting insurance to pay that $5,000 is the buggaboo. Until MORE cases of Long QT can be diagnosed by genetic testing, it just doesn't make sense to test knowing the about 1/3 of cases will test negative even if they really do have it.
