Hello, I’ve had high blood pressure since I’ve been a teen quite stable at 160/80 I’m now 27 years old and have been on medication for 2 years now… I started with avopro 150mg I went down to about 145/70, then they changed my medication to avalide 300/12.
Hello. I saw a sand like material in my urine this morning. I have seen this a few times before. What is this material? Should I be concerned? I was able to get sample. I have no pain, and I've seen no blood. I am a 55y/o male.
for probably close to 4 years now. My current primary care says it is just because I take verapamil for migraine prevention but don't have high blood pressure. This doesn't sound reasonable to me. I am 37 and wonder if I need a referral to a cardiologist.
Docs have done many blood tests and say I have mild Diabetes and have me on Metamorphin I believe it is . It is very frustrating but sometimes I drink fluids until I am ready to burst. I am on Avalide for high BP but have talked to others with diabetes ( some on insulin ) and on BP meds and they drink nowhere near whay I do or feel thirsty all the time. My body weight can fluctuate as much as 10 lbs during the week ( daily 3-5 max ) .
Short term memory is affected also. I find myself sitting at my desk wondering what the heck I was doing and my attention span is very short. I haven't had any head injuries. No significant health problems other than mild hypertension treated with Avalide. My potassium was low (I think due to the HCTZ in the Avalide). I don't drink, smoke or take any recreational drugs. I saw a neurologist, who says the MRI is normal, EEG is not (temporal lobe irregularities). He's on vacation...
I have no idea what a bladder sphincter is, but maybe you could explain it to me. The only other problem I have that I didn"t mention is when urinating , quite often I have a split stream. One stream goes where it's supposed to, and the goes down the front of my pants.I am taking high blood pressure medication - Avalide. Also I am taking vytorin , Foradil, and spirvia. I drink a lot water at night because my mouth is so dry, from the last two items.
The doctors have not been very helpful, except to scare me to death and cause confusion as to what I should do to correct this problem. The condition is most certainly caused from long term use of steroids. My life feels like it's falling apart because I am craving steroids now due to my stopping the steroids just 2 months ago. I need some advice on how to get my testoterone back to normal levels without damaging my heart any further.
I got divorced two years ago. Since then I have developed serious addictions. I am now an alcoholic and drink anywhere from a half a fifth to a whole fifth of 100 Proof whiskey almost on a daily basis. Another weird addiction is I have become addicted to making myself throw up which I do several times a day. I get a sensation like I am purging out my anxiety and stress in a way which I don't understand. I want to stop all these things but I can't.

there is no best medication for the condition you described. And medication has to fit the whole picture about the person and that can only be done through a consultation with a well-qualified psychiatrist.

The first considerations with AFIb is the prevention of clots, a simple aspirin a day (with a meal is best) is a big help here, and controlling HR, keep it from going too high. Here a beta blocker is usually used (a prescription drug).
If the symptoms are severe, they are not for many people, more aggressive drugs and invasive procedures may be the best path to a solution.
Give the medication at least 2 weeks and see if the response is good. If this is a fungal infection, antifungal and corticosteroid creams may be able to help.
Is the spot itchy?
Is there any scaling present?
Any associated white lines and redness in the nearby area?
Observe if the rash is enlarging. Also, fungal infections may present with itchiness and there may be a well defined reddish border delineating it from surrounding normal skin.
I don't know if your medication is causing it, but I can tell from your previouis post and this on that you are having a terrible time. I will try to be brief since I am a little preoccupied at this time, so forgive me if I sound brusque.
It usually doesn't last. At least for me. it was a big feature of my psychosis which happened during the depressed cycle of my bipolar disorder.
Did the doctor prescribe any medication for you to take? Also do you take Aspirin? From my own experience, I started Verapamil after nearly a week. I felt my upper right tummy pain so I saw the GP. He let me did an ultrasound. It came up with a very early stage fatty liver. My ALP also raise. Since it rise, never go back to normal. After a year, I was diagnosed with diabetes and high cholesterol.
I don't like red meat so I didn't eat enough red meat. My iron is very low.
