How can I change from taking Truvada in the noon to taking Truvada at midnight? For instance, should I do two doses of Truvada in one 24 hour period or should I do no doses in one 24 hour period to get it right?
3. When the doctors prescribed the medication I ended up taking 4x the recommended dose of Aluvia. This was due to me having received four cans of Aluvia,not realizing that each can was meant to last 1 week.
Do you recommend the truvada over the viread or baraclude? If while being switched from Hepsera to truvada is there a risk that the Hep B could become active? Also , the Hepatitis B DNA is currently undetectable and the Hep B Surface AG is currently negative (both prior to transplant as well as post transplant, so far ) what are the chances that the Hep B could become active again once the Hbig infusions are stopped? I read somewhere that there are reports out there that Truvada along can clear hbsag at around 10% per year. Which is if true makes it the best antiviral option for us from what is available.

The way I see it it is a powerful combo for hbv. 200mg of tdf and 200 emtricitabine.
So talk with your doctor and see what he thinks.. maybe you can do a year of Truvada and see what happens.. that way you will have a sequential treatment anyway that is being emphasized in a research settings.
Adding Zadaxin to an antiviral could be great also. It is proven that it enhances positive effects of post interferon treatment. So in a combo with antiviral it can be a could combo to try for six months.
has anyone been prescribed Truvada? If so I would like to know how you are doing with it? and if it is helping your hepatitis b? I have stage 4 kidney disease. My hepitologist just prescribed this med. My labs were not good. He hopes to get the virus under control so I can possibly get a kidney transplant. This would be a kidney from a cadaver donator, someone who had hepatitis b. So I am about to begin my journey.
I have been taking Truvada since 2008, 5 months ago I did the pregnancy test, the result was positive.
I am worry about side effects to my baby if I continue to take Truvada during my pregnant...

I had a gay massage 3 weeks ago. The man who gave me a massage kissed and "fingered" me a few times and later on he "sat" on me. The penetration lasted about 10 seconds before I pulled out, and needless to say it was unprotected. It is a very mild form of sore throat that does not hurt nor does it affect swallowing. I was proscribed azithromycin 2 days ago and have taken 3 tablets total thus far with no dramatic improvement.
Besides the sore throat, I have not had any other problems other than fatigue.
I am a hepatitis B patient currently taking the HIV anti-viral drug Truvada. My hep B is very controlled right now and its viral loads undetectable.
After doing some reading, I see that Truvada+Kaletra (or Truvada alone) is a commonly prescribed PeP regimine. I know that Truvada is part of the Stribild combo, but Im not sure why this was the specialists choice? I saw that there is an ongoing clinical trial with regards to Stribild as PeP, which would mean that it is not yet approved for such purposes?
My questions for you are: Will Stribild even be an effective PeP treatment?
I am a gay male and have taken Truvada as PrEP daily since last November.
This past week, I ran out of my Truvada after taking it on Tuesday morning. Prior to that, I had taken it daily for more than a month. I did not take Truvada on Wednesday or Thursday. I changed insurances and wanted to wait to pick up my refill until I got my copay and assistance straightened out.
On Friday I had anal sex as the bottom with a man I know who says he is negative.
