4476664 tn?1361632949 I know I am preachin to the choir, but tonight I am SUPER uncomfortable. Back pain, super tight belly, getting walloped in the side by my son. Oh boy....8 more weeks to go.
Avatar m tn I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function. The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
Avatar f tn Today I woke up not feeling great but decided to go to campus anyway, had choir practice and a meeting with my advisor. Halfway through choir I end up getting really dizzy and just feeling like crap. Had to sit down and rest. Then ended up coming straight home before my meeting due to dizziness. I'm 31 weeks today, and I know I don't have long to go, but I am so tired of not being able to function normally. Thank goodness I will be done with my masters in 3 weeks.
Avatar m tn Benzos are a bad remedy for insomnia, as they interfere with the brain's ability to learn how to adapt to stress and interfere with REM sleep, and of course are addictive with quite a withdrawal kick. Although you only used it for a short time, people are different in how they respond to quitting -- it should be done gradually even after short term use if that use was continuous as opposed to as-needed occasional use.
Avatar f tn I play all kinds of music for him, but he really likes the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time sound track and Gorillaz. With Dethklok he tries to kick as hard as he can as if he's trying to moshpit inside, and oprea puts him to sleep. Its funny to feel his reactions.
Avatar f tn I'm 20+6 and I'm cramping and very dizzy. I sing in my church choir and after we finished I feel sick.
Avatar m tn ve been having back pain and insomnia since my surgery 4 months and was prescribed Percocet. My surgeon told me to see a PCP for more Rx and I did. I went to a family practice with 3 doctors and 1 FNP. Two weeks ago, the FNP prescribe me indocin, benadryl, and retin-a(other). None of these medications helped with my back pain and thurday 12/23 I saw the PCP again.
Avatar n tn I agree about talking to the doc. You might consider melatonin, though. It's OTC, safe, and works well for some people. I've been using that off-and-on throughout treatment. Go with the lowest OTC dose, though. It's a natural compound and if the body gets too much it just ignores the signal. Also, talk to your doc about Ambien (lasts roughly 8 hours) vs. Sonata (lasts about 2 hours).
4522800 tn?1470325834 Cats in the cradle with a silver spoon, little boy blue and the man in the moon, when you coming home dad? I don't know when, we'll get together then son, we'll get together then.
Avatar f tn ve seen plenty of people with the name Sylvia, plus I have loved the name ever since I saw it, but my dad, sister, and her boyfriend just immediately said "no" because "Its a Mexican name" as they exactly said. I liked Scarlet, Coroner(unisex), and Sylvia as names. I think they're perfect. But again, is that even fair? Am I being childish about this? And no, the baby's dad is not around, so I have no backup on this. I just need some advice...
Avatar f tn I am due the 31st and having more issue with ribs being sore of I move the wrong way. I am part of a choir and noticed a change in breathing and the amount of air I can take in. I find breathing exercises help to stretch things out. I mainly sleep on side though because of uterus can add pressure and affect blood flow to baby. Could just be from baby growing and this causing pressure on your lungs. I would say to try some breathing exercises.

Avatar f tn When Mr.Langton(our choir director) did warm ups we usually started out with the chromatic scale run. WE would sing the word AH with each chord progression and arpeggio with our mouths stretched three fingers wide(he would have us insert three fingers into our mouths to keep our mouths open...made you feel ridiculous standing there with your fingers in your mouth...
Avatar m tn doctor at the office, I stayed there. I also have hypo thyroid disease. Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob.
Avatar f tn He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine. When I get to this point it is like the color goes out of the world. I watch people going about their lives and I feel like everyone is passing me by and I have this big thing hanging over my head. I want to be the person I was before.

Avatar f tn I'm 36+4 today and at midnight I thought I had peed myself but after continually peeing myself over and over I knew it was my water. Went into l&d and they confirmed it was my water and started me on pitocin. I was having contractions but couldn't feel them, but now I am definitely feeling them! Coming every couple of minutes. Gonna TRY and get some rest before my baby boy makes his big arrival!

Avatar f tn I am a 36 yr old female and I have had problems sleeping for about 10 years now. All of this started with a stressful job I had 10 yrs ago. I started to develop insomnia and sleep anxiety. Tried Remeron (sp?) at first, work great but made me want to eat all the time. I quit that job and things did get a little better, but I could never get my normal sleep patterns back. I either cant go to sleep, cant fall into REM sleep or wake up early.

Avatar f tn Hi. How did things turn out with your son? I'm searching the web trying to find out what is going on with my 8-yr old daughter...... Her situation sounds very similar to your sons....We've done full circle at the GI.... nothing wrong there. She seems sad....and withdrawn....declines offers to do things with friends, dropped out of dance/doesn't like girl scouts or choir anymore(although I'm forcing her to finish year)... She said nothing is fun anymore....
1580703 tn?1651904887 I was wondering if clonezapem might help PLMD the leg/arm twitching which may be waking me up?
Avatar f tn Our baby boy Is 6 weeks old and he has been super fussy lately. We tried everythin' to try to calm him down and wouldn't help. He would actually go without sleep for almost a whole day then when he would go to sleep, he wouldn't want to wake up to eat and would sleep for the whole night If I let him, but I was told not to let them sleep (well, not be fed) over 3 hours. So, we got Colic Calm Homeopathic Gripe Water. It's for everything... Gas, Colic, Upset Stomach, Bloating, etc.
Avatar f tn I only drink bottled water or purified water. I actually went and bought s huge water dispenser that i get my water from. The town i live.in. we have a warning that small children, pregnant women and elderly people shouldnt drink it.
