I can watch those its the o ones I hate to watch when withdrawin.... I dealt with dts from some binges on alcohol I wnet on and I can't tolerate any alcohol at all in my body anymore it gets me sick as soon as I drink and then I have to wake up with the shakes looking for more soI can just stay abstinent from that. Its like alcohol wont allow me to drink that long before my body starts to reject it very fast. Strange huh??

SVU, SouthPark, WheelerDealer, and basically anything on TLC, SMITHSONIAN, Discovery and channels like that. Then there's my smutt... Honey Boo Boo, Celebrity Rehab, Jersey Shore. I like Intervention, and Addicted and Hoarders as well. Not sure if that's smutt or not, but I still look at them and think, "At least I'm not THAT bad!

Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.

s parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months. They haven't seen us in a couple months...

Anyone else ever watch the foodnetwork n get really hungry watching it or get cravings for what theyre making?

I will let my baby watch TV. I agree that tv is not a babysitter, but I don't see any harm in letting them watch a couple of cartoons. My nephew, Ashton will literally wake up in the middle of the night and SCREAM bawling his eyes out if the dvd stopped and the tv went blank. But if the tv stays on and he has something to watch, he'll be cool and collect. Plus babies just like noise and lights a lot, it keeps them entertained.

s so much drama, sex, inappropriate activity on tv that I definitely will be only letting my baby watch it as a treat not a daily thing. I surely don't remember the kids on Disney having boyfriend/girlfriends, makeup, hair extensions, etc when I was growing up. It's just too much influence for my taste.

Yes, definitely stay away from Walmart's tv section because you'll get stuck on it and a commercial for adopting animals will come on and you'll be crying...

Thanks for all the replies. Him and I don't watch TV much though, and we do play with her, but the TV is always on even when we are. I have a daughter myself, 6 1/2 months now, and I don't plan on letting her become like my step-daughter. I don't see why they would've let that happen in the first place, but I guess things happen. She lives most of the time with her mother, so she has the most influence on her life right now.

I do this sometimes when my mood is low, but instead of watch TV I surf the internet while I stay in bed all day. It could be a sign of mild depression. To me it is a comfort zone, there is no stress, just relaxation, maybe too much relaxation.

She has 26 animals 11 outside big unfriendly dogs that only she can interact with which is ok, 6 inside little dogs and 6 or7 inside cats now she lives in older 2 bedrroom 2 bath trailer which is fine but once you walk in door all you smell is cat pi$$ awful and her house is a plum mess something you would see on tv hoarders that bad. She loves her animals and takes care them but not house.

Anyone obsessed with a TV show? I have been addicted to the show bones. My bf can't stand the show. He says it makes his stomach hurt cause they r detailed and show all the nasty stuff.....

You can DEFINITELY tell which kids watch too much TV, and you can also tell which kids watch inappropriate programming. Every little boy with aggression problems is allowed to watch cartoons like spiderman and Disney movies. The little girls who are obsessed with princesses (training our girls to be damsels in distress) watch way too much Disney, and the little girls who have terrible attitudes watch the stuff on Disney channel and Nick stuff geared towards older kids.

I know lots of over weight people who are very pretty/handsome and have no trouble at all dating or turning a head.Seems tv is just over loaded with similar shows. Octo- moms on tonight, I am gonna watch that too, its kinda like those rag magazines to me all entertaining kinda like watching a cartoon, I would not take any of those shows seriously What do you all think?

My kids never let me watch tv so the only tv I get to watch now a days is Disney channel or when they fall asleep at 8 30 I am allowed to watch my shows. Yes my kids rule me! Anyone wanna talk about Disney channel I got the whole scoop!

Then we purchasing a house, started to watch tv shows like "house hunters".. now that I'm expecting, I would like to watch tv shows about pregnancy/delivery.. Anyone knows of one?? I agree with Gizzy..... won't watch anything she is on, will not buy a magazine she is in.... I have very strong feelings about this situation, and chose not to contribute to a woman that pops out 8 kids, which she can't take care of, or the other 6 she has. And I am beyond disgusted that her doctor has not has his licence revoked. I'm sorry, but that is as positive as I can make this post so I will now hush..........

I watch it too and I did watch pregnant and dating but that went off and I like switched at birth.
