We did look and it was coming from her vagina. We decided taking her to the vet was the right decision and glad we did. She has a UTI, crystals, and at least 2 stones. Vet said she is a real trooper because it had been going on at least a year. Strange, because she didnt whine, whimper, eat or drink more or less, basically no symptoms. So he offered up Plan A: surgery for around 2k, or Plan B: antibiotics and a special diet for 6 months. We went with plan B, and it is still going to cost a bit.
Hi I have been having vulva redness and burning for 7 weeks now. I have been treated for BV twice and yeast three times. Got a full std work up including blood work all negative. I don't know what's going on. I'm going to get blood redrawn next week and in 4 weeks. Please help!

No other symptoms recently, but during my daily self exam a few weeks back, I began to see a dark line on one side of the inner surface of my vulva just above the vagina. It is not tender, and does not burn or itch, but since yesterday, it has become a raised purple vein. I used monstat and it cleared up. Then about two weeks later I found a bump kind of inside of my vulva. It went away then a week later I started having symptoms that appeared as if i had a bacterial infection. My vulva was REALLY inflamed and hard and it burned. I was in unbeareable pain and I could barely sleep or walk.
About two weeks ago, I had a case of BV and then an episode of yeast. My dr gave me vaginal suppositories for both. The medication made my vulvar region extremely swollen and a few bumps appeared. This occurred with severe itching/burning. These bumps are skin colored and have no fluid or pus. I went back into the dr and her nurse practitioner said they might be herpes. I freaked out because I didn't think I was at risk, and here I am halfway through pregnancy.

It itches and my vulva swell. The skin will eventually start to tear from the inside with actual light blood not period blood. Then the skin at the top of my vagina tears and bleeds. It used to happen once a year for a few days but with time it gets worse. Now I have it for 3 weeks starting during every period every month. It started off with a few sores just above the pubic hair area. Then vulva/vagina became all red and inflamed. I thought it was yeast infection and self medicated. However it got worse and then I noticed ulcers/boils all over vulva. Pain was very intense. They started to ooze and bleed. They are now drying out but I still have tingling feeling. I visited doctor who suggested possible genital herpes and put me on famciclovir. I'm just wondering how I might have contracted this.
The only thing I can see is that you had high levels of red and white blood cells in your urine, and some bacteria, but it doesn't say what.
It also looks like you had some mucous in your urine. Have you followed up with a nurse there to see if you need treatment? You can call the ER directly and ask to speak to a nurse.
I was in a sexual relationship last year and in nov 2009 dev intense itching of vulva. Took the usual antifungal cream followed by fluconazole with no response. I was now having vulval soreness and extreme discomfort on peeing.I also got my period.on top of this. I went to the gyne cologist who told me that i had a rash "most prob viral"he said but did not elaborate.I asked if it was Herpes and he said "something like that" He gave me acyclovir pills and cream.
While at the doctors he swabbed the sores and did a blood test. The blood test came back positive for HSV one and the swab came back positive for HSV one. Is that correct? A positive swab is as accurate as you can get. You do have HSV but I’m just trying to confirm if it’s HSV one.
It definitely sounds like HSV one because you haven’t had any recurrences, which is quite common with that strain. Hsv sheds less and tends to produce far fewer outbreaks.
I recently tested negative for the HSV2 blood test. I tested at 0.46 at about 6 weeks post suspected exposure. This was after a painful, pus-filled lesion appeared on my left labia. It took about 2 weeks to heal, but ever since then my vulva, particularly the left labia, has not been right. I get a tingling sensation down there all the time.
Tonight as I was using the bathroom I noticed a smallish lump on my vulva very close to the opening of my vagina that was very painful to the touch. about 2 years ago i started feeling tired all the time like i was coming down with the flu. have been going to doctor since to find out what is wrong with me. one blood test showed rhumetoid but no inflammation. specialist even thinks i had fibromalgia. i recently went to my gyno. about another bad bladder infection and pain in my vagina especially during sex. i asked her about some heavy discharge and cystic type lesions that have come and gone 5 times in last 2 years.
Or sometimes it will get round and shiny and I pop it and pus comes out and blood (the pus has no odor). I thought I might have recurring folliculitis. any ideas? I have a few more pictures if needed.
