Just because any drug is available over-the-counter, doesn't mean they do not have side effects. And just because side effects are listed doesn't mean you are getting all the information on a drug. Has anyone else experienced Monitor Side Effects? The following day after wearing the Monitor I experienced dizzy spells and light headedness. This was not suggestiveness as I never expected this reaction nor had anyone mentioned such a thing. And this surprise had nothing at all to do with why I was monitoring my heart. It persisted for two weeks while I was monitoring in the given manner. I took the Monitor off after that time and the dizzyness gradually went away.

There is something that you should ask you physician. Digoxin has a very long half life. I think it's close to 36 hours. What that basically means is that in 36 hours, half the dose is metabolized while half the dose remains. But you're probably taking a pill once a day.

I was given vioxx years ago, read the warnings about heart attacks and such, and threw them all in the trash! Not much later it was pulled from the market. You need to know what is being injected into the eye for the macular edema. Likely its macugen which is a steroid. The biggest risk is worsening of glaucoma. Other risks include infection, bleeding, retinal detachment, and increase of floaters.

I experienced all of those side effects except the heart burn, but only at first. After awhile my body seemed to get used of the drug. I also gained weight on Depakote. That is the reason I am not on it now. I have back problems and the extra weight was brutal. Soon as as switched to Topamax (which has weight loss side effects) I lost the extra weight plus.
