What they discovered was that all NSAIDS increased the risk for heart attack and stroke with Vioxx being the worst.

Avatar n tn I had a DVT that went through my heart and into my lungs(PE). A valve was damaged, also one chanber of my heart. My problem is that I wasn't diagnosed as a "heart attack", but rather a "pulmonary embolism", and the lawyers representing me in my vioxx lawsuit say it has to be a heart attack, not a PE. Isn't a heart attack part of a PE? Rather, did I suffer a heart attack as well as a pulmonary embolism?

Avatar m tn I have recently become more paranoid regarding a possible exposure a couple of years back in Singapore. I was intoxicated but generally can remember most of the event. This was a CSW, which turned out to be a ladyboy. I performed oral, there was no ejaculation. i also recall that I anally fingered this person but only for a few second as they did not like it. They also gave me oral but again was not a long period and there was no ejaculation.

This risk is even greater in patients with portal hypertension–related complications, such as esophageal/gastric varices and portal hypertensive gastropathy or gastric antral vacular ectasias (varices of the last part of the stomach).
