You need to know what is being injected into the eye for the macular edema. Likely its macugen which is a steroid. The biggest risk is worsening of glaucoma. Other risks include infection, bleeding, retinal detachment, and increase of floaters.
You could ask about laser grid treatment, oral carbonic anhydrase inhibityors (diamox) treatment of macular edema.
You could ask about adding a steroid such as FML or Vioxx that is less likely to raise IOP than regular steroids.
But this time I am going to ask the GP to try for Gout immediately (VIOXX and/or Allopurinol for Uric Acid/Gout). I notice it seems to reoccur every 5 years.

I really didnt notice until later that night and did not have a chance to see if this pinhole sized cut was covered or not and whether or not that part of my penis was even in her vagina as I dont recall going that deep. I have recently become more paranoid regarding a possible exposure a couple of years back in Singapore. I was intoxicated but generally can remember most of the event. This was a CSW, which turned out to be a ladyboy. I performed oral, there was no ejaculation. i also recall that I anally fingered this person but only for a few second as they did not like it.
