I'm not quite sure what you are asking? If you are prescribe Vicodin...then these are Vicodin pills. Ever pill, both brand name and generic, depending on the manufacturer has different markings. If you have any questions then you can ask the Pharmacist where you picked up your prescription. It's very possible that your Pharmacy changed brands/generics and this has different markings from what you took previously. They still all work the same as directed...

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this one. While discussing vicodin with my brother he was trying to tell me that his variety of drug which is lortab does not hurt your liver. Is this true? I think it's just his way of justifying his using this drug. Yes that has to be it since everybody knows that tylenol harms your liver. So,I want to know if anyone out there has done an intervention and how it turned out in the long run.

I have been taking 1-1/2 - 2 Vicodin for about 5 years now (15mg - 20mg - never exceeded 1500 mg of acetaminophen daily). First 2 years it was maybe 3 times a week, but probably last 3 years it's been practically every day. I am an ex-addict (heroin/methadone detox) who treated for Hep C 7 years ago and have tested undetectable every year since. Labs have always been OK as far as liver numbers go - never really paid much attention to other counts.

I have been treated w/Vicodin for awhile now for chronic pain. I have now moved from the US to India, where it is not available. Any recommendation for alternatives? I can't take codeine long term, and take Effexor, neurontin and metformin daily, w/Soma PRN as well. I can have scripts shipped here if need be, but wold prefer to avoid the hassle/expense.

Hi, Ive been taking vicodin for about 2 to 3 months now almost everyday. I usually try not go go over the 4,000mg of acetaminophen a day. However i sometimes take up to 2,500 mg of acetaminophen at once. Now i always year people say the max apap dosage is 4,000 mg per day. But nobody says what the body can handle at one time. So basically what i'm wondering is.... Does anybody think its possible that i've damaged my liver beyond repair??

so you must be getting off oxicoton?( oh, I USE to like those) mine was any pain pill I could get my hands on. the doc gave me vicodin ES for 6 years.I have been off pain pills sents July. oh yes, get ready for the rollercoaster ride.please keep in your mind that you will be wide open for another addiction to slip through. nobody told me that! I was reading a posting that says they were taking 150 mg a day what is that? I take 10-20 pills a day usually Vicodin ES or Vicodin HP. For the past week it has been Percoset because that was all I could get. I tried to stop and failed after 3 days. Tomorrow is my day...Im going to make it this time. But I just want to understand things a little better...Can anyone explaine if I take 10-15 ES a day how much is that?

Stoping xs Vicodin after years. I've needed too. Now had no choice cuz the pain dr is throwing me out thinking I'm not taking them. I was just to many in the beginning I the months. Not sure how I will do with the withdraws. They have put me on a low dose of Fentolyn but I don't think this is doing anything but making me sicker.

I workout 3 or more times a week, I have MS if that figures into anything, My A1C floats around 6.1 to 6.3 when taken. My numbers are taken thee times a day, morning before eating, evening before eating dinner, and at night before bed. Usually the mornings have always been high from around 170 to 190, recently they been higher around 210 being an average. After a nice breakdast and lunch before dinner time my numbers are usually 115 to 151 being the highest. This I do not understand.

My son was recently told his numbers for ATL have gone from 55 to 146 in 2 monnths and his ASL has gone from 146 to 376 in the same time frame. About 6 months ago he was told some other numbers were almost 30 million. What does this mean? He is showing signs of extreme fatigue and he looks more drawn that he has in the past. He is incarcerated for another year and I am concerned he won't get the medical attention he needs.

we'll my numbers in March at yearly physical we. ft4 .84. range .60-1.80. ft3 was 3.54 range 2.50-5.27 and tsh wad 4.31 range 0.47-4.68. Then recheck in May after the doctor dropped my synthroid from 150 mcg to 75mcg and new numbers are tsh 21.40 ft4 was 0.49 and ft3 was 2.70.

i snort vicoden like ten in a day i find myself addicted to the taste an i dont get it its not just the taste of course but i feel it has a big part in it could anyone give me any insite about this and thank you for your help oh an today i only snorted a half of vicodin at 9 30 its twelve now an no cravings... yet.

The numbers seem fine to me, just remember that you have to let your body do its thing and you have to stop stressing and relax. I know this is very difficult specially with your history, but let it be. Are you taking a baby aspirin everyday? That seems to help some people. I started taking Omega 3 everyday and I believe that it helped. Good luck!!

Look at the white pill and Google whatever letters and numbers you see. This will identify the pill which I suspect is not Vicodin. Either your pharmacy or dealer or someone else messed with you. If you want to quit your drugs you are welcome here. If not, please stick with Google.

I have at times taken vicodin 5-500 & norco 10/325 OR hydroco/acetam 10-325 & hydroco/acetam 5-500 together or at the same time. The only difference is the amount of vicodin in each pill....my pharmacist has told me its dangerous to take both together. I understand that the tylenol can harm my liver but that wasn't part of his reasoning and I forgot to mention it. So my question is why is it so dangerous to use them at the same time aside from the liver damage?

I am also worried that I will not have the same energy level that the vicodin gave me. Vicodin made me a yes man, well at first anyway. What if im a lump on the couch from now on? Will I ever be myself again? Does anyone have any advise on how to have a quicker or less painful recovery? I am doing this cold turkey. In the past I have tried xanax or saboxin but then I just become dependent on them, cold turkey is the only way. I have already missed a week of work, I just want to get better....

I too am on the same medicine for my blood pressure and I had taken a Vicodin that night so I could be comfortable (I have disks that are bulging in my back) so I could lay to fall to sleep. I am wondering if that medicine could have something to do with it as well. I am still waiting to actually hear the test results to the study. All I know is what the lady who did the test told me.

I've been on vicodin for fibromyalga for almost 4 yrs. I've tried anti-depressants over the yrs which never helped. U can do this, I was on a 200mg a day Oxy habit. each person is different so I can only let u know what worked 4 me. I tapered, still had withdrawals there is no way around them but I have come off oxy's when I ran out and those w/d were hell. This wasn't cause I wanted 2 . 40 days ago was the last time I used oxy's then switched 2 vicodin 500's. I then would taper down 1/2 pill every 3 days.

There is a lot of noise on the internet regarding what are the 'Normal Numbers'. I believe oficial ADA numbers are < 100 for fasting, <140 1hr after meal and <120 two or more hours after meal. But then many articles say 'True Normal Numbers' are < 83 fasting and always < 100. What do they mean by 'True Normal Numbers'? Also are these averages or absolute maximums?
