Avatar n tn Your taking this drug for an anxiety disorder is what I term a “work-around.” It is an attempt to deal with the symptom but does not get at the cause. My guess is that your anxiety is counteracting the drug effect (which is a known negative effect with this medication). I do not know what you are doing to deal with the anxiety, but I think that this is where your cure lies. To my knowledge, there is not a negative physical effect on your penis. S.A.Liroff, M.D.

Avatar f tn If she is turned off from sex with you emotionally, no drug will make her excited. If this is bugging her, she should see her doctor. If it is not bothering her at all, I'd take it as a signal that she might be losing interest in the relationship. Then either work on that (i.e., why she is and what you might do about it), or decide to move on.
Avatar n tn Viagra and Levitra are the two FDA (Food and Drugs Administration) approved anti-impotence drugs that are indeed effective in helping men.Viagra needs no introduction! Pfizer's wonder drug, sildenafil, better known as Viagra, is the trusted treatment for male impotence problems.
Avatar m tn s secretary to ask him/her about your specific case. As far as Viagra dosage, try to find out the lowest amount that 'works' it may be 25mg or even less. Cut up a 100 mg pill into 4 parts and start there. Good luck, it's a great drug.
Avatar n tn Viagra gives me an erection but I can not ejaculate. Is there something in the drug that causes this?
Avatar f tn I am just trying to find out if occasional use of viagra would be safe or a risk to take.
4295567 tn?1352353163 Hi Rambo, Nothing there the same drug, there two of three main drugs for erectial dysfunction, but you can try herbs safer and no side effects, and you can have sex when you want it and not wait an hour, if you need more info come back to me. You can email me.
Avatar m tn I don't think Viagra is a dangerous drug, but it will simply not work in your case. Viagra is a drug that deals with blood flow, not a psychological problem. Your problem is in your head. Have you ever had sex with a woman? Possibly you just lack the experience. Possibly you need more foreplay time.
Avatar m tn Viagra(Sildenafil) is a vasodilator (that is, a drug that dilates blood vessels), and consequently it lowers the systolic blood pressure (the "top" number in blood pressure measurements) by an average of 8 mmHg. In the majority of patients with heart disease, including most of those being treated with antihypertensive drugs, this is not a problem.
Avatar n tn I was diagnose with clogged arteries over a year ago. I even had a stent put in because one of my arteries was ecluded. I still had stable angina every time I did some for of cardio activity or is I ate something with sodium. I started using Nitroglycerin patches and even have the pills just in case my angina episode occurs. I had a date and I read online that you can't take viagra and any nitrates cause it can drop your blood pressure really low.
Avatar m tn If it is true, It is a crime to give you this drug. You can have her arrested and sue your employer.
17995067 tn?1462167674 to the best of my knowledge, there is no such thing as generic Viagra. Viagra is a cash cow for Phiser, and ten years ago a SINGLE pill was 10 dollars, NOW a single bill is 30 Dollars. Every time the time period lapses for this drug to qualify for generic, they tie it up with paperwork-refile with a slight change to keep the generic out of it. If you are getting something from outside the us, it is likely not Viagra at all.
Avatar f tn Please try Viagra if you are a woman who has MS. The study for efficacy of Viagra in women which is currently in progress is a study for sexual enhancement for women. So it has nothing to do with MS. Viagra increases blood flow and it helps a lot. It will drop your blood pressure and you don't want it to drop to a dangerous level, so you need to monitor it. Start with the minimum effective dose which is 25mg and see if it does something for you.
Avatar n tn Ask a pharmacist. When it comes to drug interactions, they are usually far more knowledgeable than doctors, and have databases in which to look up interactions. It's good to ask the prescribing doctor too (and if you don't have a viagra prescription already, definitely tell your doctor about ALL medications and supplements you take).
Avatar m tn That is, if it turns your face red, it may stay that way for 24 hours, versus just a few hours for Viagra. You can always take more later, but you can't undo what you've taken!
Avatar m tn Have you had testosterone levels tested to make sure Viagra is the proper drug for you? Hypothyroidism can cause low libido, but so can adrenal issues. If you haven't had other tests done, I'd suggest you do so. Aside from that, talking to your doctor would be the best thing to do before taking drugs, such as Viagra or others in the same class.
Avatar f tn It may sound like a headline from Cosmo, but a survey published in the Journal of the British Association of Urological Surgeons finds that the nearly two-thirds of women report sexual dysfunction. The top problem cited among women was lack of desire (47 percent), followed closely by orgasm problems (45 percent). Age, menopausal status and usage of antidepressants were statistically significant risk factors for female sexual dysfunction.
Avatar m tn Hello, I have been using Viagra for a few years with great results. But sometimes I need a faster reaction time. I have tried it rectally by dissolving 25mg in a very small about of warm water and with a small syringe injecting it into my rectum. The results are must faster and stronger it seems than taking it orally. Wondering if there is anything negative about this?
Avatar m tn t know if taking Viagra is likely to be a problem or not (I do know that Viagra was originally developed to be a heart drug, they only discovered in testing that it also had the effect of causing erections!) You should go and see a doctor about this. I guess you must already be seeing a doctor about your blood pressure, so go and speak to them and tell them you are having this problem. Only a doctor can tell you for sure if it is related, and advise what the best thing to do would be.
Avatar m tn (Assuming no other condition is present and subject is a healthy 21-year old male who takes sertraline for depression, beta blockers for anxiety-caused tremors, and viagra for obvious reasons.) Thanks!
Avatar f tn I agree w/ GuitarRox - doubtful this one-time deal would do you much harm. But same as GR, I'd want to know why you took Viagra in the 1st place at age 24 - were you experiencing any symptoms that made you think you were developing ED, or was this just sort of an 'experiment' to see what would happen? First, it's never a good idea to take a Rx drug that wasn't prescribed for you, and 2nd, it's an even worse idea to take a larger dose than prescribed.
Avatar m tn I recommend that you consult with a physician for a prescription for this and for any other prescription medication.
Avatar m tn Hello everybody I have ED problems and I use viagra before and it work good for me, but is expensive so i was looking for a cheaper option and i found this website the sales generic viagra Generic viagra so does anybody have any comments on this website....
