I recently started taking sildenafil (viagra) and I am experiencing some vision issues. It's been about a week since I last took a 40mg dose and I'm still seeing little starry patterns as though I've been pressing on my eyes. Is this normal? I've read that viagra can cause blindness in some people and don't want to mess up my vision. Should I stop taking it? And if so, what would be an alternative?
After I take it, I experience vision problems for about a week after. Namely, I have starry vision and problems seeing in the dark (particularly walking from a lighted room into a dark room.) I've had several eye exams and the doctor says there's nothing wrong with my eyes and it's fine to keep taking Viagra, but I'm a bit worried. Anyone else have this experience or might know what's going on? I'd rather not lose my eyesight just to keep my erection!
I do not believe this was caused by Viagra. It usually causes a vascular problem.
The new onset of floater should be considered an urgent condition. It is may be associated with retinal tears and subsequent retinal detachment.

I expected to see and feel the side-effects of Viagra. I did see blue lights, my sinuses got gloggy, and I had a mild case of heartburn, but nothing too severe to stop taking Viagra. I found that the pill took about 40 to 45 minutes to get me ready.
If your doctor recommends Viagra, be sure to buy Viagra from a pharmacy. Hundreds of online ads say get Viagra cheap. They are cheap because they may or may not contain Viagra.

Of late, I have observed that there are changes in vision such as loss of vision, blurred vision, eyes being more sensitive to light. I feel like something always pricks in both of the eyes. I feel blurry all the time. Tough, I have stopped taking sildenafil but I think the blurry vision is increasing day by day.

I used it in conjunction with my viagra and when i ran out of my viagra supply. It is L-Arginine. Another supplement is L-Carnitine. Don't take them together. L-Carnitine should be taken on a emply stomach. There are many different forms--and they each have a slightly different function. What i took of the L-Carnitine is GPLC by Jarrow pharmaceuticals. I know Australia has several good supplier of supplements. L-Arginine works differently than viagra.
So it has nothing to do with MS. Viagra increases blood flow and it helps a lot. It will drop your blood pressure and you don't want it to drop to a dangerous level, so you need to monitor it. Start with the minimum effective dose which is 25mg and see if it does something for you. If you wait for a study from the FDA on Viagra for MS, then it will probably happen after you are dead. Please try this now. Viagra has a very good safety profile for a number of years now.
There is so much more going on with my vision and head pressure and so much more I could never list it all. I also have been having weird pains and feelings in my head muscle twitches almost nonstop and so much more. If anyone has experienced anything like this please help me. I have lost all faith in the medical field just keep getting put off months at a time. I Pray more than anything for healing. Please anyone that can help please.
My husband is on the medication Suboxone and I was needing to know if he can take Viagra with this medicine? We don't want him to take it and go into withdraws or anything so, are the two compatible?
It has helped but it has not solved the problem. I went to my doctor and he gave me a prescription for Viagra, 50 mg. My question is this: Is it safe to occasionally take Viagra if I also take L-Arginine? Are there are any potential contra indications in that Viagra should not be taken by a person who takes L-Arginine? If so, is the contraindication just for that day? In other words, would I be safe if I did not take L-Arginine on the day I took Viagra?
I am just trying to find out if occasional use of viagra would be safe or a risk to take.
I used the blue pill only when I anticipated using the tool it is intended to help. The exercise scenario or the getting lucky scenario. It helps a lot. I never was asked or told to take it at bedtime, when I had no intention of exercising "it"...I've since read on several boards how it is often used every night regardless of the plans for exercise....So I started taking 50 mg every nite, 5 nites in a row now. I seem to have some improvement in my bladder control. 6 months r.p.
