I’ve gone through a few articles mentioning that diabetics with ED can use Generic Levitra (vardenafil). Is that true? If so, I’d like to know who has used Generic Levitra having ED and diabetes and is it safe.

If your free t4 is high in normal range, yet your t3 is very low, then you probably have problems with converting.The problem is, many Synthroid prescribing doctors (endos.) usually never check it and just assume you're converting the t4 into enough t3 on your own. Also, your TSH is still a little elivated, even though it is in range. Many people feel better when this is slightly lower-say arond 2.0 or even lower. These ranges are very broad, so it matters where you fall within them.
If the doctor prescribed that dosage, then I would trust him/her. Zoloft is typically prescribed from 50-200mg, so your son is taking a 'normal' dosage in my opinion. I was on Zoloft a couple of years ago and had no major problems coming off of it. Just ensure when it is time to come off the medication work with your doctor and taper down slowly.
s pregnant and taking 100mcg thyroxine during the week and 75mcg at weekend. I feel this is not enough as experiencing problems i would normal experience if I do not take enough. I therefore required a blood test and it came back with my TSH at 8.83, The doctor has now increase my weekend dosage to 100mcg but I still feel this is not enough. I feel 125mcag along with 100mcg every other day would be more suitable for me. Please advise as I'm concern about about my baby.
A year and 1/2 ago my heart was in atrial fibrillation and after it went back into normal sinus rhythm I was placed on 100 milligrams of atenolol and one lose dose aspirin per day in the A.M. Although my heart pretty much stays in rhythm I have not been feeling well lately. I feel light headed tired, have minor pressure in my chest and my heartrate is now in the low 50's.

It usually takes a while for them to get used to the effects of the anti-seizure medication, and until they do, they do appear to be very drowsy and out of it. Your dog should adjust to his medication within about a month. If he doesn't, you should talk to your vet about adjusting his dosage.
i have been taking 50mcg it was normal before i shifted my country and latest results show TSH 11.86 and T412. shud i increase the dose to 75mcg?
When i came to Canada in March from India weight was 54kgs now in June 58kgs. Will reverting the levels to normal bring back my weight too..

Please post your actual lab results with reference ranges. "Normal" isn't always normal. Also, if you have lab results from before the chest pains began to compare them to, that would be great.
I decreased my synthroid and today is 11 days. Saturday I felt better had more energy. today I felt tired my pressure at 12 was 117/82 at 3pm 132/86. About 5pm my pressure was 155/98 .I have a headache and the burning again and tingling. I took a blood pressure pill and in a half hour it came down to 126/81.I am overwhelmed .I had the lisinipril from about 8 months ago my renal doctor put me on them but my pressure was going too low.
I test my own blood and adjust my dosage of warfarin. Usually I'm right in range 2.5 to 3.5 (2 art heart valves). About 6 to 8 weeks ago, I took augmentin for 10 days, 2 weeks ago, I took another antibiotic for 5 days. Since then, my PT/INR has been too low, 2.0. My diet and meds have stayed the same. I've been increasing my dose, yet it's still too low. Is it normal for this change? Please see my profile! Can it indicate my lupus activity?
My dr put me on 200 MCGs of Tirosint and Cytomel (5 MCGs) per day. I noticed that this seems to be a rather high dosage of Tirosint since it's supposed to have a better rate of absorption than the other thyroid meds on the market. I'm wondering if anyone else is taking a dosage this high? i went to have labs drawn today because while i've only been taking this dose for 5 weeks, i am either hyper now, or the symptoms are coincidence. Will others share their Tirosint dosage?

Hi, I'm newly diagnosed hypothyroid. I've been taking 25mg levothyroxine for nearly 8 weeks now but I just feel worse and worse. It's really affecting my day to day life much more than before - I'm a student nurse and am struggling to make it through my shifts on a daily basis. Thinking my dosage is wrong - how long does it take for everything to become stabilised again? Not sure how I'm gunna carry on my nurse training at the moment :-( any comments appreciated.
My TSH came back at .11. Do they increase or decrease the dose of levothyroxine to get it to the right level? I had my thyroid removed a year ago because of a multi-nodular goiter and I haven't had a normal level since. I am wondering if my doctor is doing this right. He is not an endoctrinoligist and I thinik perhaps I should find one to get this straighened out. My muscles hurt 24/7 and so far no one seems to be able to figure it out.
Can I just follow the general dosage directions for Vigamox (3x/day for 7 days) and TobraDex (2x/day), and, if it's all cleared up and vision is normal, NOT return to the doctor?
I have TSH levels drawn every 4-6 months which have always been on the low-normal side with no change in my medication. The last TSH drawn was 0.333 in September. I have been experiencing about 4 days of PAC's/PVC's quite constant, and am wondering if this is due to the low TSH level? I called my PCP who told me to stop the 0.1 mcg of Synthroid and that he was going to change my dosage to 0.75 mcg.
Endo doubles my dosage of tapazole to 30 mg per day. The symptoms slowed down. Now in March I gained weight - 15 lbs, think I am HYPO so I am going to cut down the tapazole and get blood work done. Diet has not changed at all.
Is weight gain normal after high dose of tapazole. I think it was extreme for endo to put my dose from 15 to 30 mg per day ? My last reading said 19 - after a month of being at 30 mgs per day. Its two months later - and I gained 15 lbs and feel tired all the time.

Please remember that Eltroxin only contains thyroxine (T4 hormone) at different strengths BUT Diotroxin contains thyroxine sodium 90 micrograms and liothyronine sodium 10 micrograms (T4 and T3 hormones). As far as I know Diotroxin comes in one strength only.
Please keep an eye on your T3 levels. Ask for them to be tested as well when you test your thyroid levels.

Should you experience symptoms when you have dosage increase? I have been taking 75mcg for 8 days after increasing from 50 mcg. The lower dosage made me feel dizzy and so tired so endo told me to start 75 mcg. But I have been feeling a little jittery,nauseous and achy all weekend. Is it normal to have this after increase and I should try to tough it out for a few days? Or is this a reaction I should be concerned about it?
I had a TT in October of 07. I had RAI (175 dosage) 3 weeks ago. I am on 225 of Synthroid daily and my doctor says my levels are "normal." I had thryogen shots instead of going off my meds. I still suffer from extreme fatigue at least 2 days a week, dry skin, terrible backaches, knees hurt, elbows hurt, and I get confused to the point I am in tears. How can my levels be "normal" yet I still feel as though I am suffering from hypothyroid?
