Not sure if this has already been asked or answered... I have mild ED it's due to using findriside for hair loss. My hair is fine but not worth it now. I only just noticed it four days ago and have immediately stoped taking the medication. Would you say I have done permanent damage or when the findristride is totaly out if my system will it all go back to normal. I have an okay sex life and I am 32.
t the FDA get this drug off the market way back in the 70s? (When it came in the shape of Proscar, but technically was the same drug). I mean, it's been out there for a while... A lot of people should be affected by this. And now I'm afraid that I learned abut it far too late.
Anyway, I still have no libido, and it might be psychosomatic, or just a depression but I'm so afraid that it's not.

I experienced several side effects from the drug including total loss of sex drive, difficulty maintaining erections, loss of spontaneous erections/morning erections. I stopped taking propecia within 3 weeks due to an inability to deal with these side effects. Things seemed to be slowly getting slightly better as the weeks and months progressed however now some new issues have been arising.
The role of testosterone and dihydrotestosterone in muscle growth is not completely understood, however, it is known that low levels of both of these hormones in an elderly male can lead to muscle weakness and loss of muscle mass and conversely that increasing these levels cause an increase in muscle mass and strength. I am quitting propecia tomorrow after reading all these pages on the possible defects that are potentially at hand with the consumption of propecia. It saddens me to hear all of the negative remarks that are done the road even after quitting. I started balding when I was 15 and at this point it is no longer my concern. Forgive the harshness of my posture on your question but I think it is indiscriminately naive to ask a forum of informed laypeople about the wisdom of using a medication (be it for male pattern baldness or other prescribed purposes). Please treat yourself wisely and ask your physician about the inclusion of any medications. While I think these medications (especially topical rogaine) will be relatively benignant) they are medications.
I had no problems before this period with a strong ejaculation. There also seems to be less volume of fluid.( I am a 40 year old male and had a vasectomy 2 years ago.) Is this a sign of a prostate problem? Also, I don't know if this is pure coincidence or not but the problem seemed to start after I started supplementing with "saw palmetto" for prostate health.

I attribute my erection problems to the Propecia tablet that I take daily. As you know, Propecia is 1 mg. of finasteride. Propecia has been shown to cause side effects such as erectile problems in a small minority of users. Unfortunately, I appear to be in that small minority. I had agressive treatment with a combination of external radiation and Brachytherapy. I now on Uromax tablets (Tamsulosin Hydrochloride 0.4 mg) which is causing me severe pain when ejaculating. Please advice if there is anything I can as I am still very young.

I have been taking Propecia since 2.5 years at variable doses(0.25 first 6months, 0.5 mg for one year and 1 mg for 1 year till today), In october 2016 my derm put me on accutane 10 mg and minoxiline(100mg) for treating my mild acne, I had been drinking heavily for 5 days before starting my accutane course, 10 days into the course, I started to have Gyno(Unilateral, right breast with a movable tender lump), I dropped accutane and minoxiline and also propecia after 23 days.
10 165lbs and over the past year I noticed quite a few scary symptoms which im not sure as to what the cause is. One of the symptoms I have been experiencing is bed wetting which is something I have not done since I was a kid but within the past year have urinated three times in bed, I went into the doctor and they checked my urine sample but it came back well within the normal range.
No blood in the semen? Maybe soak in a hot tub at the club once a day to see if that makes a difference.

1-When I was 40 , I went to the doctor as I was having small drop of urine in the end of urination, doctor told me not to worry and no examination was done.
2-five years ago ........ I had the problem getting more while passing urine (when i pea few drops of urine come out in the end ) I went to the doctor and he did a PSA test it was (0.78), and he did a Uroflowmetry and it was normal and he told me not to worry about it and no medication is required.
He ended up with an infection and after taking proscar and flowmax for 5 months (and using the single use catheter) he went in for an opening of the urethra. He since has had recurrent bladder infections, terrible gas and bloating. He is still on nitrofurantion (2 pills a day for 5 days) one pill a day for 30. He has no relief. He is up every night with terrible pains. He is getting depressed and has lost 20 pounds. I don't know what else to do.
As info, more than likely your "Hair" is going to fall out. Forgot the most important word but you can insert mind, energy level, memory, skin moisture, restful sleep and a few others and the sentence will still be correct. Treatment is tough and in the big scheme of things hair loss is the least of your worries. I know as young man of 32 it's difficut to understand that but it's very true.
