I have had an ultrasound of the prostate which checked out fine and have been tested for chlamydia and gonorhea, which both came back negative. I am currently taking uroxatral and avodart daily, and am curious as to why I am still having symptoms. Is it possible of being overmedicated? Or is there something that has been missed? I would never suggest someone get an online sponsor. It is imperative that the person gets to know you and sees you interact, etc. Try to get to other meetings. If you are only doing NA, then try AA. Doing the steps alone would be impossible. You need someone who has worked the steps themselves and can guide you and explain them to you. Keep looking..you will find the right meetings.
