uroxatral er

I have had an ultrasound of the prostate which checked out fine and have been tested for chlamydia and gonorhea, which both came back negative. I am currently taking uroxatral and avodart daily, and am curious as to why I am still having symptoms. Is it possible of being overmedicated? Or is there something that has been missed? If so what other possibilities are there?

There is another class of medications, such as Uroxatral, which can help shrink your prostate and improve your symptoms. the results of this class of medications, however, often take many weeks before they make a major differences. Ultimately, flomax and drugs like uroxatral can be combined to give maximal medical therapy for BPH. I’ve been on Ciprofloxacin (antibiotic), followed by Sulfamethoxyzole (antibiotic) plus Naproxen (anti-inflammatory). Now that your bladder has recompensated, you might actually be able to empty using an alpha blocker such as Uroxatral or Flomax, but I would not recommend doing that in the long term as you are skating on the edge of decompensating again. I would recommend that you have a prostatectomy and then be followed for adequacy of emptying and urinary tract infections.

He put me on Cipro 500mg 2x day for 4 weeks and uroxatral 10mg 1xday. This regimen did not help so I then went on septra DS for only 9 days (3 week prescription) because I didn't notice an improvement (hindsight probably stopped this one too early). He then put me on 10 weeks at 100mg 2x day.

s office that turned up no answers. I was given Uroxatral to try but have seen no difference in almost three weeks. I've also started to take saw palmetto about two weeks ago but still nothing. I just can't feel relieved after I go to the bathroom. I always feel like I have to urinate. My bladder empties fine, according to uroflow tests but my stream is that of a man in his 80's not a man like me who will be 25 in December.

I just had the urodynamic test. The urologist who performed the test said I have low flow at high bladder pressure, which would indicate an obstruction. My normal uro, the one who performed the cystoscopy, did not find an obstruction (but I don't think he was looking for one, and he seems to be ignoring the redness he saw on my bladder neck...). Anyway, doc gave me a 30 day sample of uroxatral.. if that doesn't work, he'll mix it up with some other medications.

9 weeks. I had to go to the ER YESTERDAY because when i wipe i saw red/pinkish blood in toilet paper. The doctor did an ultrasound and said baby looked fine ( he/she even moved for us). The doctor also did a pelvic exam and said that everything looked fine. She also told me that 25% of woman bleed during pregnancy.. has anyone else had bleeding?

Just got to the er talked to my dr about the shortness of breath & dizziness I've been having & they sent me right over here.....

well were headed to the er. I'm 36w4d. was having blurry vision and heavy breathing this morning. along with nausea and a sharp pain that shot through my head. my nurse said we needed to get there soon. hope everything is ok. Say a prayer for us .

I found out I was officially preggo today through my blood test but now I'm have excruitiating pain in my pelvis on the right side so I'm at the ER.

So today I went to the er to get checked the nurses said im at 1cm and my contractions were 40 seconds apart they rum a few tests to make sure my water wasn't ruptured etc. Everything came back normal ...but my question is why wasn't I feeling any pain? Now im worried. Im 35 weeks long. Not to mention I loved the nurses and Obgyns ay mercy san juan great hospital!

So, I went to the er last night bc I was bleeding. They gave me a rhogam shot since I am RH Negative. However, I started bleeding heavily today and started having blood clots. Had anyone else had this shot? If so, did tug experience this problem as well??

Some is light red and last night was a little bit brighter red but no clots, no cramps. I am scared at work and leave in 15 minutes. Im either going home or to the ER, what should i do?

Well, I'm waiting for a cab right now to go to the er... I wasn't worried at first, but after I talked to the nurse she told me that she was going to call my doctor (which they never do) then not even 5 minutes later they told me to come in. I just hope I'm not in labor or anything since I am only 21 weeks. Thank God my little boy is moving around because they said that is a good thing.

Try drinking a lot of water n take a Tylenol n try n sleep it off first n if dat doesn't help I will definitely go to da er.
