You shouldn't be doing drugs. I'm not the type of person that will say the baby will be fine for sure BC that's not true. There is a reason why they tell you not to do Any drugs during pregnancy you can't even take advil.. so why would weed be okay? Also if you're drs office decide to test you're urine for drugs cps might get involved specially if at delivery they test the baby and there is drugs in her system.
Really I was told Everytime they have you leave a urine test at your appointments ect they test for drug use etc!!! And by law they have to report it to Dhs. Which then Dhs could take your child when it's born from the hospital!!! Not worth it seriously. You have to choose what's more important to you.
Smoking anything is not great for the baby. Yes its in your system, and I wouldn't smoke anything else. I know someone who smoked weed during her pregnancy and because she and baby were tested when she had the baby, she was watched by child services for three months and had to be urine tested. She would have lost the rights t her child if she hadn't stopped smoking. And Tobacco products are definitely not good for you or baby.
I've asked a lot of people their opinions about smoking weed while pregnant. My sister smoked on and off throughout her entire pregnancy and had a wonderful healthy baby boy . But I'm hearing smoking weed can damage the umbilical chord and stuff along those lines. Answers opinions ?
I have been going to a pain management doctor for almost a year. He does a urine test on me every month which is then sent to a lab. My question is why hasn't the THC shown up in any of these tests yet? Am I in the clean or will there be a chance that he may test for THC one day. I also signed a contract when I first started that said I can not do any marijuana while under his care.
I smoked weed with my first, but cut back to once or twice a week and only a hit or two and she came out perfectly healthy, very smart, no side effects. I did stop before my 3rd trimester because I was afraid of drug testing. This time I am doing the same thing but haven't stopped in the 3rd trimester because I have been very sick and still working up to 36 weeks which has cause siatic (spelling?) Nerve pains in my back daily. I try taking Tylenol but it doesn't do enough.
Thats what your urine samples are for lol its one of the things they test. If they get suspicious then they test. And will continue to if they have a hunch in a state thats illegal. Also in florida and arkansas they test your babys meconium after birth since the drugs will stay in the babys poop. If its positive they immediately take away your rights and out the child up for state custody.

s not my child or my body so frankly I gave my opinion n I hope her/your child is okay but no way am I coming on here in August to find out! Or 9yrs from now when something maybe linked too smoking weed! Some drs do random drug test on the pee when u go in, and no they dont always tell u and certain insurances make drs do random test as well as checking the blood and placenta for drugs and your child can be kept away from u!
i have the same exact issue Ive been smoking weed for years and i smoked some weed recently and after/during my urehtra began to become inflammed and it never went down i went to the doctor got std tested and uti checked and nothing showed up but the pain continued 24/7 i started taking antibiotics and the pain for the most part went away but then i smoked some weed and the pain is back 100% percent :((
From what i got they're not too sure on the effects that smoking weed have on the fetus during pregnancy because not too many women are willing to disclose that they've smoked weed during their pregnancies. But different studies concluded different things. My brothers babys mother smoked weed during both of her pregnancies and both my niece and nephew have slight speech problem his other babys mother didn't smoke during her pregnancies and both of her kids are developing just fine.
I just don't get why you would want to risk it? Just because someone else smoked and had a healthy baby? This is ur child u are to protect them...
Let your doctor know. And they can drug test you, by a urine sample. They will do it three times. Once the first time u speak to ur doctor, another time around 30 weeks, and then they can again right before your due date. As long as your urine is clean the last two tests (especially the one right before birth), they can't take your baby from you.
You and baby should be fine for now but you need to figure something out before baby gets there and not because he is smoking in house, weed it self just being in the house is enough for them to come grab up your kid. I lived in Jacksonville we just moved and just about every one smoked but if you had it in your home they would cause you problems. Its stupid but it's how they work.
T SMOKE WEED, but I do understand the reasoning when people do. Weed has very few negative side affects (other than showing up on urine tests!) Haha. But your baby won't be taken if you don't smoke a ton, and don't smoke your last month. They are making it LEGAL in more and more places and if you educate your self on both sides if the argument you will understand why. in my eyes its not much different than all this other stuff we eat and smoke from straight out of the ground.
so not really gonna matter if she sits by people who smoke weed. Honestly shed be better off smoking weed herself rather them cigarettes.
