You shouldn't be doing drugs. I'm not the type of person that will say the baby will be fine for sure BC that's not true. There is a reason why they tell you not to do Any drugs during pregnancy you can't even take advil.. so why would weed be okay? Also if you're drs office decide to test you're urine for drugs cps might get involved specially if at delivery they test the baby and there is drugs in her system.

Just don't smoke anymore... I was smoking weed and found out I was pregnant. I stopped that day and haven't smoked since. They don't drug test you when you supply urine for your OB. It takes up to 30day to get it out of your system. True that some studies show that there are no known effects on baby, but smoking blunts isn't the way to go.

Wen they test yr urine for drugs, weed especially, if it comes back positive they dont say anything to you they just want to know if yr high risk. I smoked occasionally with my first as I was a smoker b4 I got pregnant. Ooooooo can feel the dirty looks! Thats what your urine samples are for lol its one of the things they test. If they get suspicious then they test. And will continue to if they have a hunch in a state thats illegal. Also in florida and arkansas they test your babys meconium after birth since the drugs will stay in the babys poop. If its positive they immediately take away your rights and out the child up for state custody.

The only tests run on these are my A1C and checking for keytones and things like that. Is it possible that weed would show up in my urine or blood even if they aren't checking for it? Or do they have to specifically be checking for drugs? Thanks for any help. I hate letting diabetes get in the way of any of my personal decisions.

i was wanting to know if u can test positive for thc without smoking weed.

I have been going to a pain management doctor for almost a year. He does a urine test on me every month which is then sent to a lab. My question is why hasn't the THC shown up in any of these tests yet? Am I in the clean or will there be a chance that he may test for THC one day. I also signed a contract when I first started that said I can not do any marijuana while under his care.

I worked for my dad's office for a couple years while in college and they drug test your urine. (He's an obgyn) If it comes back positive they contact cps. I don't know the frequency at which they test it, it could just be the first visit, I'm really not sure though. Our hospitals here automatically drug test the baby when it's born, also.

m in southern California and along with all the basic stuff they test for in your urine they test for drugs as well and if you continue to test dirty they will involve cps when the baby is born

and yes drugs can affect a baby also let her noe every time she goes to the doc and pees in a cup they check for drugs if she test positive a social worker will talk to her

If you smoke weed while your pregnant and when they do a blood test they check for drugs and if weed shows up. They will check when your baby is born if its in the blood stream if it is they have the authority to take your baby from you.

Are you asking for drug reasons?? They check baby poop for that. They check the placenta our to make sure they got it all. But never heard of testing it.

Really I was told Everytime they have you leave a urine test at your appointments ect they test for drug use etc!!! And by law they have to report it to Dhs. Which then Dhs could take your child when it's born from the hospital!!! Not worth it seriously. You have to choose what's more important to you.

The xanax is a category d drug and will affect tje baby the weed wont do anything. Some women are prescribe. Weed for morning sickness and other symptoms.

My hospital tests upon arrival for delivery. The mom for sure. Dont know about the baby though. If they have reason to they will like if you test positive theyll test the baby.

You have not tested positive for drugs at your on/gyn during your prenatal visit that is a good thing...

After 11 weeks of being pregnant they have me a slip of paper signed by the doctor to bring yo a lab to get blood work and give a urine sample for a drug test. That is done during your pregnancy. The urine you give at the doctor every week is to test for infections.

i have the same exact issue Ive been smoking weed for years and i smoked some weed recently and after/during my urehtra began to become inflammed and it never went down i went to the doctor got std tested and uti checked and nothing showed up but the pain continued 24/7 i started taking antibiotics and the pain for the most part went away but then i smoked some weed and the pain is back 100% percent :((

m having symptoms of Gonorreha lower abdominal cramps and bleeding between periods yellowish discharge some times so I went and took a urine test and it came back negative after a month of possible exposure...but I did smoke weed and I made a mistake and touched the lid stem of the test cup before I put the lid on, would these cause a false negative?

t think they test you for drugs each appointment. Your urine sample is for protein and infection. But they do test at birth I believe.
