I just used the Otc strips that test for NIT, or LEU, and my wbc was a little positive. My doc is out until Monday and I've had this issue since being treated, I had a nurse tell me it could be inflammation from the infection causing the urgency and wbc in my urine.

What exactly is mixed gram positive flora, gram positive bacteria? also did not do clean catch, I also had routine blood test and when trying o give urine sample the blood was dripping down my are, had to set cup down to clean arm, and did not do midstream. results said probable contamination, why is this?

Your weakly positive leukocyte test can safely be ignored. (I also agree these tests can give subtle results. But most true infection give strong results that are easy to interpret; the borderlines generally can be ignored.) Hello I wanted to see if any one can help me with my results. I had a urine dip and came back With the following results WBC 2+ Ketones 2+ Uro 2+ Is this something to be alarmed ? I not only had a yeast infection but Strep B (once results got back), and leukocytes/red blood cells in my urine(Leukocytes 3+, RBC 3, WBC 6), so suspected of a UTI. checked surgeon, says i am ok swelling etc due to surgery, another urine dip shows nothing, no leukocytes, nothing, urine clean...went to std clinic they say i have real low chance but maybe trich so they gave me flagyl.....so with clean urine more than likely i am in clear correct ? chla/gon or trich would generate leukocytes right ? plus one week of keflex and a singlr dose flagyl i am only really at risk for chlamydia....i am waiting for resilts from std clinic...monday...
