Yes, and it's bad for the dogs, too. I own a cat and have chemical sensitivities myself. So, this place is only cleaned with natural products. That industrial stuff, if it's still in the air when the dogs and people are there, that's not good for anyone. It's very bad for the people doing the cleaning, too. They need to use other cleaning products. The stuff they're using is too harsh and is dangerous for both the people and the animals.

My husband recently had a urine test with provocation and his report came back with (among other things) arsenic at a level of 40, tin off the charts, mercury and lead. Mercury will NOT show up in a blood or urine test unless you have taken a supplement to dislodge it. And even then it may not show up. Google any of the symptoms listed on this thread plus 'mercury poisoning' in the search bar and you will be amazed at what you find. Google “Mercury Poisoning Lyme Disease” Not all mercury is coming from amalgam fillings. Flu shots, corn syrup, all kinds of fish, they all have mercury. Cosmetics have mercury.

Have you had any of the tests to rule out heavy metals? I know there is a urine test that requires you to collect urine for a 24 hour period. Seems like a logical next step since you know you have had the lead poisoining already. Is there any possibility that you are being poisoned right now by something in your environment? I know you have been tested for Lyme Disease becuase I remember you talking about it.

Did you ever have symptoms of lead poisoning? And why did you have the test taken in the first place? Something must have impelled you to do so. Also - often test samples are mixed up and you get someone else's results.

ve done a lot of research about lead and I know how lead poisoning occurs, as well as the fact that yellow traffic striping has some of the highest lead content in it. My question is: is stepping around (or something on top of) these paint chips subjecting me to dangerous levels of lead over the long term (I plan to be working there for quite awhile)? Lead from the paint can cross into your placenta and cause lead poisoning to the baby. Go to the epa website it has good info there, but I would break my lease and leave asap!

Hi. Margypops! Thanks for the suggestion. He did test me for lead poisoning and I do have lead in my blood but not enough to be considered "lead poisoning". What other metals should my doc test for?

Our theory is that it could be pesticide poisoning from our neighborhood lawn maintenance. When we researched canine poisoning types and symptoms, arsenic poisoning seems to match his symptoms. If anyone has experienced pesticide poisoning or may know what else could be causing his episodes please let us know. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you swallowed any of them, that would not be good. otherwise doubtful. There are tests for lead in the system that would answer your question for sure. Is there anything that you are having trouble doing now, that leads to this question?

I never really had any of the physical symptoms for lead poisoning but mentally, I was having serious problems. I went to many doctors and had a plethora of testing done with no conclusive evidence that there was anything wrong. I had 2 blood lead tests and one urine which I don’t think was an evoked test. Both of which came back normal. MRIs, millions of blood tests, and even a spinal tap later and nothing was found.

The doctors checked my heart. Said it was good. Took blood and urine samples. Said the urine was good for everything they tested for. I was given a shot of morphine which worked right away on the pain and then given a fluid drip for dehydration which made the burning sensation in my chest and stomach go away immediately. He had bulging/swollen eyes and was rushed to the vet. Vet did blood work and urine test and came back fairly normal. At the time we didn't know what had happened. The vet did NOT test his liver function as far as I'm aware. Today (3 days after we took him to the vet) I realized he may have gotten into a lot of tylenol 500 mg pills and all his symptoms point to it as well. I'm worried about liver failure.

I believe that if you have protein in your urine sample on not just one isolated occasion, they should do a 24 hour urine test for the protein level. I had this done myself, and my protein was high, but not so high that the doctor was worried about it.
